Der im 16. Jahrhundert erbaute Kathmandu Durbar Square war früher ein königlicher Palast der Malla- und Shan-Dynastien. Im Süden sehen Sie den Basantapur Durbar Square und im Norden Basantapur Durbar. Im Westen gibt es Tempel von Göttern und Göttinnen. Auf dem Kathmandu Durbar Square besuchen Sie den Kal Bhairav Tempel, den Taleju Tempel, Kumari Bahal, den Swet Bhirav Tempel, den Akash Bhirav Tempel und den Shiv-Parvati Tempel, um nur einige zu nennen. Kumari Bahal ist der Tempel der lebenden Göttin Nepals. Touristen bilden eine Schlange, um einen Blick auf die lebende Göttin zu erhaschen.
Der Swayambhunath-Tempel, auch bekannt als Affentempel, liegt nordwestlich des Kathmandu-Tals. Swayambhu überblickt das Tal von Kathmandu und bietet einen Panoramablick auf die Stadt. Swayambhu bedeutet aus sich selbst heraus und der Stupa besteht aus Augen auf allen Seiten, die Glauben und Frieden darstellen. Der Tempel beherbergt viele architektonische Schreine und Klöster. Sie werden das Kloster Dewa Dharma genießen, das aus Buddha-Statuen und tibetischen Gemälden besteht.
Boudhanath Stupa ist die größte und heiligste Stupa in Südostasien. Boudhanath ist ein riesiges Mandala mit Symbolen der Erleuchtung. Touristen lieben es, die Restaurants zu besuchen und die Ruhe zu genießen, da sie direkt auf die Stupa von Boudhanath blicken. Die Hauptaktivität hier besteht darin, den Stupa im Uhrzeigersinn zu kreisen und "Om Mani Padme Hum" zu singen.
Der Pashupatinath-Tempel ist ein heiliger Hindu-Tempel am Ufer des Bagmati-Flusses. Dies ist der größte Tempel in Nepal. Der Pashupatinath-Tempel ist eine Mischung aus kultureller und spiritueller Bedeutung. Es besteht aus 492 Tempeln, 15 Lord-Shiva-Schreinen und 12 Jyotirlinga (phallische Schreine), zu denen Sie Ihr Reiseleiter führt. Die architektonische Bedeutung ist schön.

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Raj was outstanding. Our 14-day itinerary balanced scenery and safety: Jagat–Taal, Chame, Pisang (upper route via Ghyaru/Ngawal), acclimatization in Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, then an early, steady push over Thorong La (5,416 m) to Muktinath and onward to Jomsom/Pokhara. Raj set a calm, consistent pace, reminded us to hydrate, and did daily altitude checks (sleep, appetite, headache scale). He adjusted breaks and grouping so everyone felt comfortable. Logistics were smooth—clean teahouses, hot drinks at the right moments, reliable transport, and clear Plan B when weather threatened flights. Beyond guiding, Raj shared stories that made the route feel alive. If you value thoughtful pacing, solid risk management, and warm local insight, Raj is an excellent choice for ACT. I finished with happy legs, a full camera roll, and total peace of mind.

We had such an incredible experience with our guide Raj. His knowledge of the trek and the surrounding areas was amazing and his attention to details along the way made the trip so enjoyable.
