It was beautiful, unforgettable, sensational. Seeing from above the moon hiding and the sun rising, with so many other balloons around and the magnificent view of the caves is a wonderful experience, a privilege.
I booked the day in advance through Viator online. You will be notified that you will be picked up in the hotel lobby at 4:35 the next day after purchase, I waited in the lobby from 4:25 the next morning, but didn't come after the appointed time, Will I be late for the travel agency chat? I sent him a message saying, "I'm sorry, I didn't get a reply..." I was worried and asked the hotel staff to call the local tour company. Then the driver told me that the road was busy today, so I was delayed, and he told me to wait because I would be there in about five minutes. But after that, an hour passed without a pick-up, so I asked the hotel staff to call me again. Then a man from a tour company who spoke Japanese changed his phone and told me that the driver had picked me up from outside the hotel five minutes before the scheduled time, but he couldn't pick me up because you weren't there and the balloon flew away. I told him I was coming to pick him up in the lobby of the hotel, but he told me at the time that he was waiting outside the hotel and had made a sudden change of location. How am I supposed to wait outside when I haven't heard from you like that?? We were the ones who messaged Robbie to pick us up, right? I was long before the appointed time, I also contacted and checked chat and phone many times. Where did you say you'd be picked up in five minutes the first time you called? The staff at the hotel protested to this tour company person in their local language because they knew I was waiting earlier than time. This time, he was lied to for gibberish that the driver might have lied and never picked him up. I was hung up because I didn't have any balloons left to fly today and I didn't know if I could put them on tomorrow or get a refund. The people at my hotel were kind enough to contact this corrupt tour company many times after that, but they didn't respond, and I finally got my cancellation fee refunded when I messaged Viator complaining. I also consulted with another Japanese speaking guide and the hotel staff, and found that the balloon price I purchased was slightly lower than the market price on the day. I found out for sure that this agency ignored my reservation instead of applying to the balloon company because they thought it would make less money for me. The reason why the driver won't pick you up is a violation, and the balloon boarding area is about 5 minutes away from the hotel, so if you should forget, it's impossible to pick you up as soon as possible. The hotel cameras were also installed, so it was obvious that the driver had not come to pick me up, and I was really shocked to learn that I was lying. If I hadn't lied to a bad Japanese-speaking tour company guy and protested from the local Turkish-speaking hotel staff and guides, I wouldn't have been refunded. You should never use this place!! It's a lousy tour company!!
Punctuality and logistic! Everything was well planned and done. Care, polite and very friendly team working together! Pilots were giving details about the area, and celebration with a toast and certificate at the end an entire surprise. We love it!

The worst agency ever!! I recommend that you go with the well-known ones so they cost more and book with plenty of time! This agency picked us up early and then we arrived at a dark road where the driver got off to chat with another driver for 45 minutes without telling us anything about what was happening! Then they take you to the place, we were only 5 balloons, we waited for 1 hour and then they started putting away without giving any explanation! I approached the person who was the “pilot” and he said that due to bad weather we couldn't go out and that it was canceled and everyone was looking ahead flying 100 balloons! Nobody understood anything! I write and no one responds! Then I found out that they take you to that area that's why there were few balloons and that it's luck whether or not you can get out that day because of the wind! So my recommendation is to play it safe with safe companies!! Besides, I didn't pay much, it was $200dls per person! And the disappointment of my daughter who was dying to come to Cappadocia and do that!!

We were picked up on time and then it was time to wait for some from another hotel who were not very punctual. They took a while to swell the balloons, but that's normal.

Horrible merchant experience. The balloon ride company promised to do the balloon ride at a different area

Unfortunately, this experience was not as good as expected because of the following reasons: 1. The balloon ride preparation started almost 50 minutes after the sunrise, we were kept waiting for really long 2. The balloon ride itself started around 1.25 hours after sunrise defeating the entire purpose of the ride 3. The balloon ride was done with just 2 other balloons alongside, so do not expect the beauty of multiple balloons in front of you with sunrise in the background 4. The ride was above some random crop field and not above any mountain region (as you would expect from Cappadocia) so nothing impressive around to see 5. The ride hovered around just a radius of 500 m, didn't take us around anywhere much All in all, I would not recommend this ride from this particular balloon operator as they ruined our trip which was mainly to witness this beautiful landscape and experience. Please choose your balloon ride company carefully, as this experience is beautiful and should not be ruined after having spent so much money.

I can't believe as a trip to capadoccia to lose the experience of my life!! You will be picked up very promptly at 4:30 AM and then not flown until 6:30 AM. They don't take off where you enjoy the view of the other balloons. We were only 3 balloons. It's only a 35-minute ride on rocks and nothing more.

You will be very disappointed. Two hours waiting on a mountain (no mans land, no bathroom, no office, simply bad). only 35 mins. Most of all, in a wrong place (you see only agricultural field).

This balloon flight is such a disappointment. Please take my word and do not book this. This is the Spirit Airlines of hot air balloon tours. I booked this tour through TripAdvisor as it was ranked the #2 hot air balloon tour in Cappadocia; why it's ranked #2 is beyond my belief as it is nothing like the Cappadocia balloon ride that you have on your bucket list. When I booked this tour, the company name was Cappadocia Balloon Tours, which is not the name of the company that came and picked us up. A company named Pegus picked us up. I see now that they have changed their name on Tripadvisor to reflect themselves as a booking agency - sketchy. The balloon is nowhere near the hundreds of balloons that you envision when you think of Cappadocia. They drive you over an hour away from the center of Cappadocia, which is not made clear in the TripAdvisor listing. It is implied that they are among the other hot air balloons with the photos listed. There was no communication from the driver and the staff looked unorganized when we arrived, almost as if they had never done this before. The only positive part of the experience was the pilot; he worked to make the ride a bit more entertaining. When the ride was complete, they dropped us in the middle of a field, nowhere near the original departure point. The whole time we were waiting for the experience to get better and it did not. Please heed my warning and don't book this company. I recommend asking your hotel to book the ride for you instead. An overpriced and disappointing experience that put a damper on our trip to Cappadocia.
