Kappadokien Grüne Tour

I have taken many tours in Turkey and visited 50+ countries and incl Kappadokia many times. But before then I have never been to Canyon. That is why I decided to ask about the Green tour in the company near my hotel. Positive great attitude was shown from the beginning. No pressure, no scam, no money in advance. They were absolutely sure that their tour was worth of money they asked. And it was true for 100%. We agreed my participation in the evening by what’s up app. And in the morning without any delay a new Mercedes bus picked me up from the hotel. The driver was a lady, and she was extremely careful and professional. Our guide was not worse than she. He communicated with us with full respect and cared about our satisfaction in every possible detail. He always gave us a lot of time in every place, but we all wanted to squeeze maximum and were organised like a team: if we wanted, we used this time, otherwise we went further. That is why we took maximum from every minute of this tour. We knew timing, the info we needed to understand the place we were arriving at. It made our trip relaxing, interesting and very efficient. And the main detail I wanna tell you to depict attitude to us. At the time of our lunch (it was very good and tasty for real with 5 opts for the main dish) a heavy rain started. I saw how other buses cancelled the Canyon walking just as the rain started. It was very bad and unprofessional. But our guide decided to check and we went there and found a good weather for walking. No rain was in this precise area. So, it was great as just one bus came there with us. Others cancelled the rest of their tours and went home after lunch. The canyon was beautiful and I enjoyed walking very much. I was lucky to refer to your company to take a tour! Thank you for positive great attitude and all the best in business! You are the GOAT in Turkey and one of the best in the whole world, for sure. Nothing to add. Everything was perfect. Absolutely!

We did the Green Tour with Paphlagonia Tour and booked through Headout. The tour is really beautiful. The hike in the Ihlara Valley along the Melendiz River, the impressive underground city of Kaymaklı, and the Selime Monastery were absolutely fantastic. Everything was explained precisely and in detail by our super nice guide. However, I am deducting a few stars for the sightseeing at the beginning and at the end of the tour. I find that an absolute no-go. At the beginning, we visited a gemstone factory, where we were naturally offered the best and highest-quality stones like onyx and turquoise. We were promised a special "deal" where we were supposed to get a 50% discount. It's funny that the prices were specifically listed in American dollars, with the justification that it would be easier for us to convert. Of course, the prices for that were ten times higher right off the bat! At the end of the tour, there was the "cherry on top": a leather factory that staged a more than embarrassing fashion show for us. After that followed a detailed explanation about the "best" lambskin they use. The leather might not have been bad, but the design was mostly abysmal and really old-fashioned. And what a coincidence: They were just having their anniversary, and we were supposed to get 50% off here too – naturally also with prices marked up tenfold in US dollars! Overall, the Green Tour was nice, but such tourist traps should not be offered by reputable agencies!

This was a well worth it tour! You get to see some beautiful scenic views, and explore some unique landmarks that you cannot find anywhere else. Tour guide is extremely helpful and keeps everything organized quite well.

The Green Tour was honestly the best part of our Cappadocia trip! Everything was very well organized and the whole day went smoothly. Ihlara Valley was absolutely beautiful and Selime Monastery was definitely one of the highlights of the tour. Our tour guide was professional, funny, and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. We learned a lot without it ever feeling like a boring history lesson. The tour had a really good balance of sightseeing and the history. If you’re visiting Cappadocia, I would definitely recommend doing the Green Tour as it was one of our favorite experiences of the whole trip!

My two children and I had a wonderful Green Tour today, and we all truly enjoyed the experience. One of the highlights for me was the hike through Ihlara Valley. While comparing different Green Tours, I noticed that many only include a panoramic stop, while this one actually takes you on a beautiful walk through the valley - and that made a real difference for me. Sedat was a knowledgeable, friendly and very pleasant guide, and Emre was kind, attentive and a very careful driver. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day.
