Das Göreme-Panorama, eine der berühmtesten Landschaften Kappadokiens, bietet vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang einen besonders beeindruckenden Ausblick. Von hier aus kannst du alte Kirchen und Siedlungen bewundern, die inmitten der Feenkamine liegen.
Die Marienkirche in Nevşehir ist eine bedeutende Kultstätte, deren Geschichte bis in die frühchristliche Zeit zurückreicht. Mit ihrer in den Fels gehauenen Architektur und den schlichten Details im Innenraum bietet die Kirche den Besuchern einen wertvollen Einblick in die religiöse und kulturelle Geschichte Kappadokiens.
Nach etwa 45 Minuten Fahrt erreichen Sie die unterirdische Stadt. Zunächst wurde es von den Einheimischen als natürlicher Kühlraum genutzt, später diente es den späten Römern als Zufluchtsort vor arabischen Einfällen. Begleitet von den Erläuterungen Ihres Reiseleiters erkunden Sie diese unterirdische Stadt etwa eine Stunde lang.
Das Ihlara-Tal liegt 52 km entfernt und ist nach dem Besuch der unterirdischen Stadt in etwa 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Tal, das durch die vulkanische Aktivität des Mount Hasan entstanden ist, weist eine 80 Meter tiefe Schlucht auf, die im Laufe von Millionen von Jahren durch die Erosionskraft des Flusses Melendiz geformt wurde. Obwohl dieser Abschnitt in der Regel mit langen Wanderungen in Verbindung gebracht wird, umfasst der in diesem Programm besuchte Panoramabereich einen kürzeren Spaziergang – nicht den gesamten 3,5 km langen Weg –, wodurch er für Besucher leichter zugänglich ist.

Sadam was our guide . He really explained well and knew history.weather was very hot I would recommend tour organizer to keep cold water all the time . They did provided water upon asking . Underground city was the best of this tour.

We travelled across the city and got great historical knowledge from our tour guide Adam, he showed the city very well and had a great itinerary of activities ranging from cave exploration, to lunch, to church and site seeing activities. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling here.

We had an amazing time on the Green Tour in Cappadocia! Fatih was an excellent guide with incredible knowledge of the region’s history and culture. Our driver 'Captan' and guide Adam were very friendly, capable and efficient. Adam has excellent English and was available for everybody across the day. The bus was a new Mercedes Sprinter that was very clean and comfortable and created a good group size (12 people on our tour). We enjoyed the day thanks to a good guide and good people but some parts of the tour were disappointing. We booked the tour to see Ihlara Valley but the time here was very short and you have to pay extra to go on the elevated viewing platform. This tour goes to the larger and more impressive underground city (Derinkuyu) which was good but we had no free time there and it was impossible to hear the guide in the tunnels (very noisy, echoing area). Lunch was tasty and filling but we were told when we booked that it was at Ihlara Valley and so we were very disappointed that it was not. We had too much time at the sales centres (jewellery and Turkish delight centres) and not enough time at the things we wanted to see (Ihlara Valley, Nar Lake, Pigeon Valley, Derinkuyu underground city). The church visit could easily have been skipped for more time at the other sites also. Tour pros: - great guide and driver - visited the main areas we wanted to see - good size group, not too big - pick up on time - great vehicle - cheapest compared to other Green Tours Tour cons: - very short free time at each spot to look around (about 10 mins) - no free time at the underground city Derinkuyu - restricted view at Ilhara Valley (you have to pay extra to see the view from the platform) - lunch restaurant was not at Ihlara Valley (we were told it was when we're booked) - too much time at the sales centres Overall a good day thanks to the good crew.

I enjoyed the tour, however felt there wasn't much time or it was a bit rushed at the sites and too much time at the sales centres. I would have liked more stops at Ihlara Gorge, the one stop we did have was short and not a very good view. You had to pay money at that location if you wanted a proper view. I went on the tour to see this gorge. Although I enjoyed the tour I was disappointed with the time spent at Ihlara and I felt that the underground city was rushed. I would have liked some free time at the underground city. Given the chance to explore and a time to meet. Being in a big group in such confined space it not practical nor enjoyable. Our guide was trying to speak but there was so much noise it was pointless.

Tour is ok but our guide Adam was the best! The green tour takes you to many landmark that you can only view from outside, the only thing really worth the trip is the underground city
