Kanutour in Lappland ab Rovaniemi

Nordic Odyssey were great in giving us some flexibility due to weather challenges it was going to be a little breezy. We wanted to go so they adapted the time to fit the predictions. It was a great decision. Pierre our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient and relaxed. We’re in our late 50’s with little canoeing experience but we loved being on the water, in the peace and quiet. There was birdlife, some interesting narrow passages and the autumn colours were amazing. Pierre provided some pastries and a welcome warm beery drink. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it highly.

We went as a friend group and had the best time. The guides and workers were really nice an helpful! The activity was super fun 10/10!

We recently went on a canoe trip with my friends in Rovaniemi and it was an amazing experience!! We met at the meeting point and our guide drove us near the river. The equipment was in very good condition. Our guide, Chris, was very nice and helpful and also very knowledgeable on the area. It was our first time kayaking but Chris taught us very well and we quickly got used to it. Chris was also very thoughtful and got us refreshments while we rested on the beach. Kayaking through the beautiful river with such a stunning scenery was an unforgettable experience. This was an amazing way to experience the serene beauty of the nature in Rovaniemi I highly recommend this trip!

During my trip to Rovaniemi, we decided to do a canoeing tour around Rovaniemi's river with Nordic Odyssey despite having absolutely no canoeing/boating experience whatsoever. We had an amazing and unforgettable experience! Our guide, Chris was absolutely fantastic! He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area - the river and surrounding nature was very serene and calming. Chris also was very patient and accommodating considering our lack of experience with canoeing and taught us very well. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the river of Rovaniemi whilst paddling - no previous canoeing experience needed!

One of the most unmissable activities in Rovaniemi. Went canoeing for the very first time with a group of friends, all of whom were complete beginners. We were greeted by Chris, our guide, who helped us feel comfortable, giving us clear and simple instructions and taking all necessary safety precautions. He was also very helpful both throughout the canoeing activity and afterwards, with useful tips on how to get the most from Rovaniemi. The activity itself was amazing. It is very safe, even for beginners, and the view along the river was breathtaking. The sounds of nature and the wonderful colours of ‘ruska’ were the perfect setting for a relaxing trip while enjoying the adventurous nature of canoeing. Chris was also thoughtful enough to prepare a few refreshments, which we enjoyed while resting on a beach. I very highly recommend this tour with Nordic Odyssey to anyone visiting Rovaniemi outside of the winter season.

We booked a 3 hour canoe trip. From a timely pick up time from our hotel to the end of the tour, we had an amazing time. Chris our guide made the experience special!
