Pablo was an excellent guide. Our timing in the year meant we missed some of the wildlife, but he made it a run adventure none the less.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Indeed, the ecosystems vary according to the time of year; during these months, some bird species migrate, while others—including marine species—take the opportunity to breed and spend the winter in the dry forests.
Pablo was wonderful. This was a small group, our family of 4 and another couple. Pablo was helpful in getting us going in the kayak and telling us all about the area. He even had some very fresh pineapple for everyone to share and cold waters to help get us through the trip. Unfortunately, we only saw some crabs along our journey, but Pablo kept trying to find us some animals. Overall, a great adventure.
Pura vida—that’s truly how nature is: wise and mystical, sometimes camouflaged even when it’s out of sight!
Beautiful kayak trip- we saw howler monkeys, many varieties of birds and crabs. The mangroves are stunning. Great way to immerse yourself in nature and get some arm exercise to boot! Pablo was a friendly guide- really responsive in setting the trip up and checking in throughout the trip- there was also a surprise treat!
Very nice review. Mangroves are special places; we must take care of them and preserve them. I'm glad you enjoyed it; that's my greatest honor!
My husband and I booked directly with Pablo. He was referred to us by a local business owner in Playa Grande. It was a beautiful day kayaking. We had sightings of howler monkeys, plenty of birds, crabs and one crocodile. Pablo was informative and enjoyable to spend time with. We especially enjoyed the fresh pineapple he served us. Overall, it was a great way to spend the morning in the mangroves.
We are supporting each other as Costa Ricans by doing what we love with excellence. I'm glad you came!
Pablo was responsive and communicated well. He was knowledgeable and provided great details of the area and wildlife. We had a very peaceful morning kayaking. Thank you!
Wow, incredible words! Thank you for your interest and patience. Very early in the morning, the silence and wildlife captivate us.
Pablo was an excellent guide and host. So much better than a boat tour. Nice early start before it got hot out. Saw a croc, many birds and vultures and howler monkey babies!!
Thank you so much for your visit! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Our kayak experience was truly something special, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide Pablo. He wasn’t just leading a tour— he was deeply connected to the land, the water, and the surrounding ecosystem. It helped us feel that connection too, definitely book this tour!
Thank you for appreciating my work. I love what I do and I enjoy it. I am grateful for such special people who admire the beauty of Mother Earth!
Very peaceful mangrove kayak. However, it felt like the guide was a little disinterested. He could have been a little more engaged. Although he offered us water and showed us this different types of mangrove. Was expensive for what felt like a self guided tour.
I'm glad you had the privilege of exploring such a diverse mangrove forest and that you'll always carry the heart of Tamarindo in your memories. We've kept the price accessible for all travelers since we started.
It was fun, we saw lots of animals and the kayaking was a nice workout. We were ready to take a nap afterwards!
Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you enjoyed my company. Sending you a hug!
Pablo was an incredible guide for our mangrove kayaking tour! We saw such an amazing variety of wildlife, including many beautiful birds, howler monkeys, iguanas, adorable baby raccoons, and even a baby crocodile. Pablo was extremely knowledgeable about the mangrove ecosystem and shared so many interesting details throughout the tour. It was an amazing experience, quiet and did not disturb the animals. I recommend it over boating completely. He was also very kind and gracious, making sure we were comfortable. He provided fresh pineapple and water, let us borrow his hats for sun protection, and made sure we both had life jackets and felt safe on the water. It was a truly memorable experience, and I would absolutely recommend Pablo to anyone wanting to explore the mangroves.
Thank you so much for this review; it helps me grow and strengthen my skills. Every detail is important, and throughout my time doing this, I refine each detail so that every traveler takes away a beautiful memory. Greetings, pura vida guys!!
