Kajak-Erlebnis in Ponta da Piedade

Fantastic!!! Each couple shared a two person kayak. Our guides (Michael, and two others) were great!

Super fun day. Liked going early before it got too hot. The caves were beautiful, kayaking fun and the swim was refreshing. A nice way to see the city from a different perspective for a couple hours.

We were unable to do the initially planned activity, the cave kayak tour, due to weather conditions (too many waves, too dangerous). As a result, we had the option of either a refund, rescheduling, or changing the activity. We therefore did a speedboat trip instead with dolphin watching, which was very fun, unless you get seasick, in which case you should abstain. A little disappointed not to have been able to go kayaking and not to have been able to visit the cave, but very happy to have observed dolphins in their natural environment.

Fantastic trip. Safe and indescribably beautiful. Absolutely fantastic guide. The dog should be described more clearly where we should meet. Include address. So if it gets sorted out - there's nothing to point fingers at ☺️☺️👌👌🌟🌟🌸🌸

It was an okay trip. I went solo and I was paired up with someone else who didn’t know how to kayak, so it was a little frustrating vs enjoyable. I wish they would have solo kayaks. Also, the tour it’s self was only an hour if that and then they let you swim and the rest of the time is on the boat. It said 2 hours but we were back in an hour and a half or so. That was kind of frustrating. Overall, it was okay. Caves were busy with other kayaks and boats and it felt chaotic. Def go early!

Great kayak tour of the caves and rock formations. First take boat to get close to kayaking area, then 2 people per kayak (stronger kayaker sits in the back), then get a guided tour of the caves and ruins. Guide was very informative and funny and talked a lot about the rock formations and had amusing stories about what they looked like. Then had time to jump in the water and swim for 10-15 minutes. Water was cool but refreshing. Lots of fun, kayaking was mildly strenuous but easy overall. Highly recommend.

I was a solo female traveler and what I did appreciate about Blue Fleet vs the other kayaking companies is that they pair you up with a guide in the double Kayak instead of a random stranger. That also helped me feel safe and our guide, Miguel was great! He was great at keeping the group together, helping any kayak that was struggling and he was funny. A great double kayak partner! Why I knocked off a bubble is because this tour was a lot shorter than what I anticipated. I felt we went through just a couple of caves and then we were done and on the way back so Im not sure if the cost is worth the short tour, but the caves are beautiful. I also booked the earliest tour at 845 am thinking that it would avoid the crowds as I hear the afternoons get pretty packed but there were still a lot of kayakers on the ocean so be prepared to wait and bump into other groups too. Otherwise, the skipper and crew were great and the Blue Fleet location is easy to find!

Everything was extremely well organized, and our guide Michael was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Exploring the spectacular cliffs, caves, and hidden corners of Ponta da Piedade from a kayak was an incredible experience. Being so close to the rocks and the water is something you simply cannot compare with seeing the coastline from a boat. The small group made the experience even more enjoyable and personal, and Michael gave us a great explanation along the way. It was an amazing adventure for the whole family, with beautiful scenery and unforgettable moments. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Algarve!
