Kaimana Kealakekua Bay Captain Cook Abenteuer

This is unlike any other snorkeling tour. Our entire family Loved this trip. It was truly the highlight! We have taken 10+ snorkel trips and this was by far superior. Boat is great- super clean and comfortable. Crew is A+++ Super knowledgeable. They took great photos and videos that we could never have done on our own. We can't wait to go back and tour with Cam and Morri.

It was an enjoyable trip, we saw a shark! Kay provided pineapple and soda for us after snorkeling. Definitely will come back for my next trip to Hawaii.

Awesome experience with the Kaimana crew!! Cam, Liv, and Andrew were all very friendly and knowledgeable guides that made sure that we had the best experience possible! It was a beautiful day with glassy conditions which we soaked in as much as possible! It was a great vibe overall and a very well put together operation that you can tell is led with passion for the ocean! Their boat was nice, comfortable, clean and perfect for a small group setting on the ocean! I definitely recommend Kaimana Ocean Safari and will be coming back for more again!

The fish abundance was great, but what stood out were Captain Cam and guide Maureen. Both made this fantastic. This is a private tour and they did a great job putting us places to see a lot yet avoid some of the mass crowd areas involving bumping into people at the surface.

We LOVED everything about this experience. We were first-timers at snorkeling, with three kids (8, 10, and 12) and the Kaimana crew was super patient, kind, informative and educational. We were nervous to get into the "deep" (actually shallow-ish) water with the fish and who-knows-what-else (?!), for the first time, but Cam and Liv went at our pace and were super helpful and accommodating. One of our kids is on the Autism Spectrum and as it turns out, while hesitant at first, he was the one who enjoyed it the most and was last out of the water. Went with the private charter and Go Pro package and have zero regrets. That was definitely the way to go. The freshly sliced pineapple and snacks were a nice touch. Communication ahead of time with Kayleigh was a breeze! Have been following these guys on Instagram for a while, now, so we were thrilled to finally go out with these experts in their field. Can't wait to return and try the Ocean Safari, next time. Mahalo!

I had such a beautiful experience in kealakekua bay with Kaimana Ocean Safari. The crew Kay and Liv were knowledgeable about the area and clearly had a passion for the ocean. Being on a small boat was so nice to have a more intimate experience. I got the professional photo package to remember my experience and I couldn’t be happier with the photos! Would definitely go on this tour again!

We had the pleasure of experiencing this tour with Captain Brenna, Cam & Kay. The friendly, knowledgeable crew shared interesting facts & area history, and they continually searched for & spotted wildlife— both while we were on the boat & in the water. The crew’s love for Hawaii’s creatures/ecosystem is evident & contagious. The snorkeling reefs were beautiful. A must do… highlight of our trip.

We went out in the morning with captain Brenna, Kay, and Cam for some great snorkeling. They were all very professional getting us set up with gear, keeping us safe in the water, and telling us interesting facts about the island and the Hawaiian culture. Cam spotted an eel and made sure the whole group was able to gets eyes on it. They provided plenty of snacks and were very accommodating for our group.

I have been out with Kaimana Ocean Safari a handful of times now! Cam and Kay are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They also make the experience a ton of fun. You can see truly see their passion for the ocean and it’s inhabitants. An absolute must if you are visiting Kona!

I have been out with Kaimana Ocean Safari probably a dozen times now! Some days the ocean provides an amazing abundance of life and incredible animal encounters, other days, the ocean may keep her secrets. But no mater what Cam and Kay put together a fantastic tour and I have had a blast every time I go out with them! You never know what you’re going to see, but you will have the best time!
