Our tour guide Clara was extremely knowledgeable regarding the palace. She provided the exact tour we were seeking (not too long) but also informative. We had one person that had difficulties walking up stairs. She arranged an elevator for that individual. Again, a great short tour of the palace hightlights!
Beware of this people. They cancelled the tour by e-mail, didn't show up to the meeting place but charged our credit card a fee per person for not attending the tour. They have a scam going on.

Very interesting and informative , nice tour guide. Lots of art, learned much about the history of Spain and the monarchy.

Viator cancelled our tour that was booked months in advance with less than 48 hours notice. They offered an alternative but we already had a commitment at that time.

Highly recommend booking tickets in advance and make sure you book direct . Sadly we booked using our Go city Madrid pass which then uses Amigo Tours. Amigo also take direct bookings so when they overbook guess who they cancel . That’s right the ticket holders that booked using their pass . Grrrrrr

My girlfriend and I did a private tour with a gentleman (I wish I could remember his name!!) that was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and super passionate about Spain and the Palace. He (politely) reminded many tourists about no the no photo policy, which is a strict rule. Only about 1% is open to the public but there is SO much detail in each room. Without him we wouldn’t have appreciated any of it. If you at all enjoy history, art, or want to get a sense of the mingling of cultural influence on Spain (eg from Italy and France especially) this is a great tour and absolutely worth the price. Walking through there alone is still cool but you won’t be able to appreciate any of the details. Highly recommend.
