Wir beginnen unsere Reise im komfortablen Auto im Zentrum von Alicante. Während einer kurzen Fahrt von 20 bis 30 Minuten genießen Sie wunderschöne Ausblicke auf die Berge. Der Höhepunkt unserer Reise ist eine Führung durch die über 100.000 Jahre alte Canelobre-Höhle. Um dorthin zu gelangen, gehen wir durch einen etwa 45 Meter langen Tunnel. Gemeinsam mit einem Reiseführer auf Englisch und Spanisch reisen wir in die Vergangenheit. Wir werden entdecken, wie Wasser und Gestein beeindruckende Formen wie Stalaktiten, Stalagmiten, Säulen und Quallen und viele andere hervorgebracht haben. Wir werden erfahren, woher der Name der Höhle kommt und was das Wort „Canelobre“ bedeutet. Nach der Tour können Sie einen Steinhandwerksladen besuchen, um ein paar Geschenke für sich selbst oder Ihre Familie auszuwählen

The transportation element of the tour is the most important part, as this site is off the beaten track. The tour of the cave itself is given by representatives of the cave, not the tour operator. After the 1-hour tour in the cave, which the representative gave in both Spanish and English, our tour operator took us into the town of Busot and shared a few facts about it before walking us to the Museum of Ethnic Instruments, where we self-guided ourselves around this interesting, well-appointed museum. Afterwards, we were instructed to take as much time as we wanted to wander around the town. It would have been helpful to have had a map with a route identified to follow with landmarks so that we could appreciate the beauty of this charming town. Overall, this was one of the most basic tours we've ever taken, and we were underwhelmed by it even though the cave itself was spectacular.
Dear David! Thanks for your review, although critical. We are glad that you liked the cave and our transport service. In the village of Busot, you asked for extra time to walk around the village. You were given an additional time that you could inspect the beautiful Spanish village. This extra time was not part of the tour program. While you walked around the village, our driver was waiting for you and it was free for you. Since an extra walk is not included in the tour program - you were not provided with a village map.
It was a great experience, and quick drive from Alicante to the amazing cave, then to a small village music museum.

Completely useless visit. The cellars are lit by spots of color. No more or less 40 minutes of inaudible guide and forbidden photos!!! Go your way. The guide speaks very little or no English.

Everything went well, we’re picked up at our property. Myself and my son enjoyed the trip and spectacular views of caves. Would recommend to visit.
