John Grays Sea Canoe Hong bei der Starlight Tour

I went on John Gray's starlight tour with my study abroad group for school. This was definitely one of the most fun activities we participated in. My tour guide, Dool, was particularly great. He ensured we saw all of the different areas of each lagoon and cave we went to, while being engaged with me and my partner to make sure we had a good time. Overall, John Gray's Starlight Tour is something I would highly recommend. It is clear that they care about their customers having a good time. If possible, I would ask for Dool to be your guide!

Pick up was simple and on time. Driver was safe and friendly. We arrived early, purchased some refreshing smoothies at their cafe, and enjoyed a pleasant day. The crew were kind, friendly, and helpful. We saw so many things…monkeys, waterfall-climbing cavefish, eagles, and beautiful coral. The bio-luminescent plankton was incredible. The food was delicious and fresh, and they were extremely accommodating for dietary restrictions. They ensured upon departure we were escorted to our proper can. We made Krathongs, floating flower offerings normally made once a year, and lit them in the cave, making a wish. If you are looking for an amazing adventure, this one was great!

Our guide was wonderful and the canoe trips through the caves were really beautiful, but the food was not the best and they make you pay for your own soft drinks, which seems unusual after paying $175 in US dollars for the day. Also they don’t tell you that you have to call the company to get picked up from your hotel.

What an amazing experience with fantastic food and entertainment! The team was simply excellent, making the whole trip so enjoyable. I can't wait to go again with my daughter! The sitting views were absolutely breathtaking. If you're still contemplating, I definitely recommend going- you won’t regret it! The organisation and communication were top-notch, ensuring everything went smoothly. I truly loved every minute of it!

Love this! Mid morning pick up as I enjoy sleeping in. Safety meeting was both interesting and to the point. What can I say, the food, the swimming, the little organisms that lit up like fire flies under water. Our guide, Halp took the time to explain rock formations, tides not to mention he could manoeuvre the Kayak like nobody’s business. He patiently helped me build a beautiful flower arrangement along with candles. After making a wish we then set it afloat for a short while . Very peaceful.

Plenty of room about the boat with the lovely leisurely cruise towards the island getting ready for our first sea kayak tour as a glass came around to pick your tour guide. We were lucky enough to draw Sammie. He was full of life and gave us an exceptionally great experience with his knowledge of the local areas and for the industry. The skill in the knowledge that these people on the boat have is exceptional. Would highly recommend this particular tour we had very pleasant and enjoyable experience for our 30th wedding anniversary. Five stars goes to Sammie our tour guide, Mumma and Papa.

The trip was the highlight of our week in Phuket. The scenery was stunning, and seeing sea otters and monkeys at play combined with expert advice and very amusing commentary from our guide Saman made the day. The food on the boat was 5 star restaurant quality.

Absolutely unforgettable experience! John Gray’s “Hong by Starlight” tour was the highlight of our trip to Phuket. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and thoughtfully executed. Our guide, Adam, was outstanding — funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about the caves and environment. He made us feel safe and welcome while sharing fascinating insights about the geology, wildlife, and local culture. The sea caves were magical, especially paddling through them during the golden hour and into the serene hongs. The bioluminescence at night was surreal — like something out of a dream. The Loy Krathong ceremony we did with our hand-made offering was a beautiful and personal touch that made the night feel truly special. The food was also excellent — fresh, plentiful, and delicious, with lots of Thai flavors to enjoy between activities. This tour is worth every penny. If you're visiting Phuket, don’t miss this — and if you’re lucky enough to get Adam as your guide, you’re in for a real treat!

A fabulous way to spend a day! Canoeing into the lagoons was a unique experience. Food was tasty and plentiful. We were well taken care of all day by the entire crew. The area is spectacular.
