Jahrhunderts erbaut. 3] UHRTURMMARKT: Der Glockenturm ist ein beliebtes Wahrzeichen in der Altstadt. Der lebhafte Sardar-Markt liegt in der Nähe des Turms und enge Gassen führen von hier zu einem Basar, auf dem Gemüse, Gewürze, indische Süßigkeiten, Textilien, Silber und Kunsthandwerk verkauft werden. Es ist ein großartiger Ort, um in aller Ruhe herumzuschlendern.

Dieser aufwendig gefertigte Kenotaph (leeres Gedenkgrab) wurde 1899 zu Ehren von Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Erbaut. Es verfügt über weiße Marmorgitter und skurrile Kuppeln, während das Innere mit Porträts von Rathore-Herrschern geschmückt ist. Es ist ein friedlicher Ort zum Entspannen und um die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Fort und die Stadt zu genießen.
Das Mehrangarh Fort ist eines der berühmtesten Forts in Rajasthan. Es befindet sich im Besitz der Nachfahren der ehemaligen Könige, die ein Beispiel für die effektive Verwaltung der Struktur des Kulturerbes gegeben haben. Es wurde 1459 von Rao Jodha, einem Rathore Rajput, erbaut, nachdem er von Mandore (8 km nördlich von Jodhpur) umgezogen war. Diese mächtige Festung, die auf einem einsamen Hügel thront, umgibt elegante Paläste und einschüchternde Zinnen

The guided tour by them was nicely done. We had asked for customised plan with photography + history + food of the city. The guide Tarun explained us everything and took us to some less crowded places. We also added Fort in our itinerary and Tarun guided us there as well. They even recommend you places which only locals know. Will recommend them if you want to have a true taste of the city.

To start with, the company is very professional in the way they explain the different packages and options available to the clients and make all the information known beforehand. I was also very impressed with how they answered some of our queries and concerns late in the night once as we had to decide what package to opt for the next morning. When we decided to do the half day city tour they offered us a flexible payment plan of paying 50% beforehand and 50% after the tour was completed. While the tour may be on the pricier side, we could not be more impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the tour guide Mr Rishiraj. Not only was he able to answer all niche questions about the sites we visited (Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace) but he even provided some useful personal anecdotes and displayed a good overall understanding of the history of not only Jodhpur but Rajhastan in general. The sites were all very beautiful and we even got some lovely photographs which Mr Rishiraj helped us snap. Finally, we were also impressed with the professionalism of the driver Mr Narendra who drove us around the city very safely and arranged pick-and-drop points as close to the monuments as possible. Would recommend this company to anyone who visits Jodhpur who can afford it as they give good value for money.

This tour was fantastic, despite most of the sites being closed due to COVID, our guide Rishi went the extra mile to take as around the outside of all the key monuments and sites. He was thorough and knowledgeable I loved hearing about the history of the great city of Jodhpur. Despite only being a half day tour Rishi showed us round for nearly a full day which sad awesome, amazing value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city. Thank you Rishi!!
