Die Telepherique ist ein Gondelbahnsystem, das von der Küstenstadt Jounieh auf eine Höhe von 650 Metern zum Schrein Unserer Lieben Frau vom Libanon in Harissa transportiert und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Bucht von Jounieh und die umliegende Stadt bietet.
Wir bringen Sie auf einen Berg zu Unserer Lieben Frau vom Libanon, einem der wichtigsten Heiligtümer der Welt zu Ehren der Jungfrau Maria. Hier steigen wir die Wendeltreppe hinauf, um die perlweiße Statue der Jungfrau Maria zu erreichen, und blicken auf einen beeindruckenden Panoramablick auf die darunter liegende Bucht von Jounieh.
Byblos, eine der ältesten phönizischen Städte. Seit der Jungsteinzeit besiedelt, ist es seit Jahrtausenden eng mit den Legenden und der Geschichte des Mittelmeerraums verbunden. Byblos ist auch direkt mit der Geschichte und Verbreitung des phönizischen Alphabets verbunden.
Der alte Souk von Byblos ist ein alter Markt, auf dem Touristen Souvenirs und Antiquitäten kaufen oder einfach durch die alten Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen schlendern und die Architektur genießen können.
Erkunden Sie die Burg Byblos, wenn Sie nach Byblos reisen! Die Burg Byblos ist eine Kreuzfahrerburg, die im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Es grenzt an die phönizische Ausgrabungsstätte mit den Ruinen des Baalat-Gebal-Tempels, des Obeliskentempels, der königlichen Nekropole und des römischen Theaters. Das Schloss verfügt auch über ein kleines Museum, das Funde von der Vorgeschichte bis zum Mittelalter zeigt.
Das 1991 gegründete Byblos Fossilienmuseum zeigt Fischfossilien, die in 700 m Höhe über dem Meeresspiegel gefunden wurden. Alle diese Fossilien sind 100 Millionen Jahre alt. Ihre Sammlung umfasst Fossilien von Garnelen, Haien, Stachelrochen, Schildkröten, Tintenfischen und Quastenflossern. Hier können Sie ein Fossil besitzen, das 100 Millionen Jahre Geschichte überlebt hat und wahrscheinlich bis ans Ende der Zeiten bestehen wird!

Great trip with Rouba which I greatly enjoyed and got to see so many beautiful places this country offers. Would recommend 10/10 times. It was just amazing and can’t wait to visit again. People are friendly, food is great, the places you’ll visit are astonishing and Rouba is extremely helpful and friendly.

This was a fantastic trip seeing areas of Lebanon, away from Beirut that we would not have been able to do ourselves. Rouba is very friendly and even more knowledgeable, Jeita Grotto is enchanting, after we moved onto Harissa (with cable car), gorgeous views also visited our lady of Lebanon, and finished in the ancient beautiful city of Byblos, was fascinating, An excellent day. Took a full day trip to Jeita, Byblos and Harissa. Rouba even included Tripoli since we asked. Very nice trip. No hassle and time restraints. We did it at our own pace.
