Vom Hotel in Beirut werden Sie morgens um 08:30 Uhr mit einem Lächeln für eine private Fahrt zu Ihrem ersten Must-See-Stopp abgeholt.
Sie haben fast 1,15 Stunden Zeit, um die berühmten JEITA GROTTOS zu erkunden, ein System aus zwei getrennten, aber miteinander verbundenen Karstkalkhöhlen mit einer Gesamtlänge von fast 10 Kilometern.
Dann fahren Sie mit Ihrem nächsten wichtigen Besuch fort, der bedeutenden Statue der Jungfrau Maria in HARISSA mit dem Auto über den Berg. Sie werden den Panoramablick auf die Bucht von JOUNIEH und viele wunderschöne Landschaften erkunden.
Anschließend genießen Sie die Fahrt mit der Hauptseilbahn oder mit dem Fahrzeug von Harissa nach Jounieh, wo der erfahrene Fahrer auf Sie wartet, um zu Ihrem nächsten wichtigen Besuch in Byblos weiterzufahren. Wenn die Seilbahn geschlossen ist, fahren Sie mit dem Auto weiter.
Beginnen Sie Ihre Tour durch den bedeutenden Ort des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes der schönen phönizischen Stadt BYBLOS, die eine der ältesten durchgehend bewohnten Städte der Welt ist, und genießen Sie den Spaziergang an der Marina-Seite zur Burg und zum Souk.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Kreuzritterburg in Byblos zu betreten, die als Burg von Gibelet bekannt war. Sie grenzt an die phönizische Ausgrabungsstätte mit den Ruinen des Tempels von Baalat Gebal und des Tempels der Obelisken.

Harake showed us all of Beirut, Byblos, Batroun and Tripoli and he was incredible. His knowledge of the region and her history is vast and he is an amazing and gracious guide. We saw all of the highlights and he took us to a few lesser known areas that we otherwise might not have had the chance to see. It was a full and rich experience thanks to him, and I cannot recommend booking with him highly enough. I will be sending my family and friends visiting the region to do the same!

We had an enjoyable time visiting Jeita, Harissa and Byblos with Mr Ali as our guide. Jeita grotto is not to be missed. It was a shame I couldn’t take any pictures but the grotto was amazing. Byblos was also beautiful with so much history about Lebanon’s Phoenician past.

Our tour guide(Harake.. hope I am spelling it rt. Sorry if otherwise.) was really friendly. He gave some very interesting insights on Lebanon and it’s history. We loved this tour! Our guide Harake started by explaining things about the history and state of current affairs in Lebanon. It helped us understand a lot of things we had seen up until that point and things that we would see over the next few days. They were very good about communication leading up to the tour, and showed up punctually the morning of. Our favorite part was Jeitta Grotto. The limestone and boat ride were awesome. Harissa was nice, but the cable car was a little bit of a letdown. This is because the cars are fully glassed and it's not in the best conditions for taking photos. For this reason, I would recommend spending a little time at the restaurant at the top and get some nice photos from that vantage point before jumping in the cable car to go down. Byblos is also very nice and we were able to choose our own restaurant to have lunch at there. All in all, a perfect experience that I would gladly repeat and confidently recommend to others!
