Piemont (Piemonte auf Italienisch) bedeutet „Fuß der Berge“. Turin, die größte Stadt der Region, ist nicht nur die Autohauptstadt Italiens und Heimat des Heiligen Grabtuchs. Neoklassizistische Plätze, Geschäfte voller Schokolade und schicker Mode sowie elegante Barockpaläste wurden im großen Stil restauriert. Wir sind ein kleines Team und möchten, dass Sie die Schönheit von Turin und dem Piemont entdecken. Das Piemont ist eine geschichtsträchtige Region, die mindestens einmal im Leben einen Besuch wert ist. Wir schlagen vor, aber Sie entscheiden, was Sie sehen und tun möchten. Unsere Gruppe besteht aus maximal 3 Personen, wir haben es nicht eilig, wir unternehmen die Touren ganz entspannt.

Außerhalb von Turin gibt es mehrere wunderbare Orte, die wir erreichen können, wie zum Beispiel der Jagdpalast von Stupinigi, der in den 1730er Jahren nach einem Entwurf von Juvarra erbaut wurde und vielleicht sein schönstes Werk ist. Das Äußere des Palastes wurde restauriert, während das Innere so luxuriös wie immer ist und das Museo d'Arte e Ammobiliamento, eine Sammlung von Kunst und Möbeln aus anderen Savoyer Palästen, enthält. Schloss Stupinigi ist montags geschlossen.
Eine wehrhafte befestigte Abtei, die auf einem felsigen Hügel, der Sacra di San Michele, verankert ist.Um die Kirche zu erreichen, müssen Sie 150 Stufen, vorbei an Skulpturen aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, von der Porta dello Zodiaco, einem herrlichen romanischen Tor mit Sternzeichen verziert, hinaufsteigen. Auf der linken Seite des Innenraums befinden sich Fresken aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, die Themen des Neuen Testaments darstellen; auf der rechten Seite befinden sich Darstellungen der Gründung der Kirche. Beachten Sie, dass einige Abschnitte der Abtei nur an Wochenenden geöffnet sind und, wenn besonders überfüllt, der Besuch auf einstündige Touren beschränkt sein kann. Bei schönem Wetter ist die Aussicht von den Wänden und Terrassen rund um die Kirche atemberaubend. Wenn das Wetter verschneit ist, können Sie die Sacra di San Michele nicht erreichen , der Reiseleiter schlägt Ihnen eine alternative Route vor.

Very beautiful, impressive, well preserved. It is better to see it in the company of a guide. The gardens are beautiful, but I thought they would be more impressive. In the courtyard of the palace, it is also possible to organize wedding parties. One was scheduled for today.

Seen from the outside is a bit disappointing, but inside is worth a visit, I recommend with a guide.

Sorry to say we had a poor experience here, the house itself was in somewhat a closed down feel to it, half was not open, the half that was open only the main room was worth seeing. As for the gardens they were all dug up and closed off, yet there had been no reduction in price.

A pleasant day with a friendly guide/driver who created a relaxed atmosphere during the car ride to the Hunting Palace and Sacra di San Michele. The (private) guide during the tour in Stupinigi Hunting Palace had the right balance between historical information and pleasant conversation. All in all a well spent day in Piemonte.

Very interesting visit. Very well managed by the Guide. Very good driver and nice deal. He made our trip easier by providing us with a guide on the visit to the Stupinigi hunting lodge. At mid-morning he promoted us a snack on foot from the Abbey of San Miguel.

The Stupinigi Palace is very nice, worth visiting and the Sacra di San Michele is a stunning monastery with beautiful views. A highly recommended excursion

Impressive construction without frills. The interior did not arouse much emotion apart from some rooms such as the central hall, the bedroom and the hall of the Bonzanigo.
I went with my daughter to visit him, maybe a bit expensive the ticket, but nothing to say, it was maybe a bit hot, but I would come back and Recommendation!

Despite being Piedmontese we had not yet visited this Savoy residence. Thanks to a spectacular day and a guide, Tatiana, who was truly excellent and very knowledgeable, we had a beautiful and thorough visit. What to say about the structure, fantastic! But what surprised me was the furnishings, some, just some of the Piffetti furniture on display are worth the visit. Once the restoration of the gardens is finished we will return!
