I can cross off riding a horse on a beach from my bucket list! A great value for the money and very scenic.

Gerardo, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, candid, and more than capable of helping my family savor the experience of riding horses on the beach. The horses were tame, charming; and so well behaved! This was a dream for my 9 year old that this company finally helped make a reality. I am appreciative and deeply indebted!

Very nice expat is the chief cowboy. He’s been in Jaco for 20 years. He is very patient and kind and can tell you much about the route you follow. He is great with riding instructions. The horses. are very rideable and lovely. They seem very well cared for.

Did the 7am ride, we ended up being the only ones on it. It was a great ride, we got to see a sloth and macaws.

Great experience! Horses were very calm, well taken care of, and suitable for beginners. We saw a sloth on the way to the beach!

My family and I had an amazing time. As a group of first-time horseback riders, we were a little nervous and didn’t quite know what to expect. Manny was an excellent guide and made us feel comfortable right away. It was such a great experience riding along the beach, taking in the beautiful ocean views, and into the jungle where were even lucky enough to see sloths and a toucan! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

Manny was great to lead our family from the barn, down paths, to the beach and back again. It was great to learn about his story and things about Costa Rica while we rode horses that were very well behaved for our limited experienced riding family. We made our reservation late in the evening the day before the 700am time slot and he quickly responded with confirmation. Had a great experience, despite it being way too hot, and would definitely recommend.

Very nice walk, the guide explained and showed us many things, did not count his time. We worked an hour longer than we expected at no cost. WOW!

Walking on a trail in the hot sun at a slow pace not so great! Seeing a sleeping sloth and a Macaw so great! Beach pic yay! Guide’s awesome and friendly!

Everything went the way it was supposed to. Tour operator sent transportation to my hotel. Guide was there when he was supposed to be ready to go. He made sure everyone knew how to control their horse, and off we went. Casual walk down a dirt road, then on a dirt track through a little jungle and out onto the beach. Guide took pictures of us on our own phones, and some on his including a short video, and sent them to me that night as he said he would. I recommend the tour to anyone, even if you have no experience horseback riding. I just have a little experience, and the two young ladies who chanced to be on the tour with me had never ridden a horse before. I enjoyed it greatly and the people back home are liking my photos on Facebook.
