Jack Daniels Tour, Verkostung & Lynchburg-Besuch mit Bonusverkostung

Picked up at a convenient and easily accessible downtown location. Greeted by our driver 'Bob' who was very cheerful and met us with a friendly smile and a 'howdy y'all' 😊 Bus was new, spacious and very comfortable albeit the noise from the air con made it difficult to hear Bob's informative commentary as we made our way to our destination. Roads were long but clear and in amazing condition which made the journey very pleasant. A good hour stop off in Lynchburg to grab some refreshments and some Jack Daniels merch ( as it's not sold within the distillery 😉 ) before starting our tour. Our guide, Sue, was amazing. A strong Deep South accent added a genuine flavour to the tour and her whit and good humour was fantastic. The tour itself, together with the all exciting 'tasting session' was brilliant. Lots and f information about the roots of the company and the process behind its manufacture with a stage by stage look into how the product is created. No hard sell, a nice relaxed experience. A bit of walking and some steps along the river as which would have to be considered by those with mobility issues but generally most areas were accessible. Myself and my group had a wonderful time and took lots ( and I mean lots!!!! ) of photos to remember the day. Drop off at same location as pick up, home by tea do could enjoy the rest of the evening Honky Tonking. Left Bob a nice tip to reward him for his efforts. Really enjoyable tour and would definitely recommend it to others 👍🏻

My husband and I did the "Day with Jack" tour with our guide Justin. The tour included lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's; a walking tour of downtown Lynchburg; shopping at the General Store, a distillery tour and a tasting. It was a fantastic day. Lunch was superb, with history of the restaurant provided by both Jack and our dinner host. Their stories were informative and fun! the General Store is something to see if you are a lover of everything Jack Daniels--because they absolutely have anything you might possibly want. The tour was great. Justin knows everything about the distillery; it's history & how each step of the whiskey making process happens. His family has been a part of the distillery for generations, so he had so many stories to tell. The tasting was great--with six different "Jacks" to try. We were even given a taste of the "Sinatra Jack" a $200 bottle--it was exquisite! To cap off the tour we were given several presents, a framed picture of the two of us; chocolates; and a jar of hot sauce from Miss Mary Bobo's. Lynchburg is definitely a company town--Lynchburg is Jack, and Jack is Lynchburg. We found the day fascinating. We thought the price was extremely reasonable for what was included. Highly recommend a "Day with Jack" if you can fit it into your schedule.

Located in a dry county so the whiskey portions at the tasting were very very small. Mostly outdoor tour. Bus driver Bob H. was great. The town we stop in for lunch on this tour is aggressively racist and has a lot of pro-Confederacy propaganda all over, so beware.

Had an amazing day out with Mint Julep tours, our guide Luke was so very interesting and informative and Hilary was a great driver, they looked after us so well, right down to pre-trip communication to bottles of water for the journey - we felt really welcomed. Lynchburg was a great town and lots of good shops and restaurants then the actual visit to the Jack Daniel’s Distillery was super. We were given a fascinating tour by Debbie our guide who was so knowledgeable about the history. The tasting session was really fun too. Would definitely recommend this day trip if you are in Tennessee.

We enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Hannah Grace, was really great and knew her stuff! It was all good except the steps for me. I made it, just let others go first. We would recommend it.

The tour was incredibly fun and my tour guide Kathy was extremely well informed and friendly. She was great with my great and hilarious. The whole tour was amazing and great!

GREAT TOUR AND EXPERIENCE!! Bob H. was our driver and he did more than just get us from point A to point B. He was informative, charming and a safe driver. He provided so great tidbits and a lot of information both on the 90 minute drive and the 90 minute return. He provided some great suggestions not only when you are in Lynchburg, but also in Nashville and in between and afar. The tour itself was GREAT! I believe the value was worth it to really understand the history of this brand and the whisky itself. The passion the distillery carries is something I have never seen, and I have had the privilege to do a few brewery, wine and other tours that are similar, and this was really well done! I highly recommend it, and if possible ask to be with Bob H.
