Früher gab es in Sarajevo Hunderte von Sebiljs (kioskförmige öffentliche Brunnen), aber heute befindet sich der letzte auf dem Baščaršija-Platz, wo er als Hauptsymbol der Stadt dient. Der Ort um Sebilj wird auch „Taubenplatz“ genannt, der als erstaunlicher Fotospot dient.
Kazandžiluk ist eine der ältesten und bekanntesten Straßen Sarajevos und war früher Teil der viel größeren Kazandžijska Čaršija, die die nahe gelegenen Straßen Luledžina und Oprkanj einnahm. Kazandžiluk hat seinen Namen von den kazandžijas, Metall- und Kupferschmiedemeistern, die zunächst mit der Herstellung von Kesseln für die Armee und später mit der Herstellung anderer Kupfergefäße und Gebrauchsgegenstände (Krüge, Krüge, Kaffeekannen, Metalltischplatten, Tabletts) begannen. Auf dem Höhepunkt des „Goldenen Zeitalters“ des osmanischen Sarajevo stellten Kupferschmiede etwa hundert verschiedene Arten von Gegenständen her.

Gazi Husrev Beys Bezistan (überdachter Basar), auch Old Bezistan und Great Bezistan genannt, ist Teil von Gazi Husrev Beys Vakuf (Stiftung). Es wird vermutet, dass das Bauwerk um 1540 errichtet wurde.
Sie wurde im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und ist die größte historische Moschee in Bosnien und Herzegowina und eines der repräsentativsten osmanischen Bauwerke auf dem Balkan. Seit den Tagen ihres Baus die zentrale Moschee von Sarajevo, dient sie heute auch als Hauptgemeindemoschee der Muslime in Bosnien und Herzegowina.
Josip Vancaš, ein ungarischer Architekt, ließ sich für das Design der Kathedrale von Sarajevo von der Kathedrale Notre Dame in Dijon, Frankreich, und der Kathedrale St. Teyn in Prag inspirieren. Dank des großen Talents von Vancaš wurde die Kathedrale von Sarajevo schließlich zu einem völlig neuen und authentischen Gebäude, das sich auch wunderbar in seine Umgebung einfügt, mit dem Hamam (Türkisches Bad) von Gazi Husrev Bey im Hintergrund.
Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures ist der Ort, an dem Ost auf West trifft, und ein Ort, von dem aus wir die Einzigartigkeit von Sarajevo wirklich sehen können, indem wir zwei völlig unterschiedliche Fotos vom selben Ort machen.

This was an excellent orientation to the history of Sarajevo as well as many of the must see (and photograph) sites of Old Town. Kenan was an enthusiastic guide for his birth city. This is a great opportunity for alone travel nomads to get professional photographs to share on their social profiles. I had an amazing tour in this magical place. beside the great and top quality photos that I went back home with, the tour was very useful and full of interesting stories. the tour guide Hanna was super friendly and also full of knowledge about Sarajevo history and the architecture of the buildings. I did another tour with this agency, and they asked me if i was interested in this new tour of Sarajevo that they were offering. I thought, why not! Overall a great experience. I got some nice photos to post on my socials as well as to show my friends and family. The photographer/guide, Hana, was very friendly and told me some interesting stories about each of the places we took photos at. The photos came out great quality. Absolutely recommend this to anybody who would like to have good photos from their trip to Sarajevo, for any reason.
