Ideal tour to see some of the surroundings without having to hike for 4 full days. Puma was a nice guide who had a lot to say and adapts the pace well to the group. Machu Picchu was the perfect ending.

The Inca Trail with Explore Adventures Perú was the best trip of my life. The guide and team were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The hike and the sites were breathtaking. Would recommend it to anyone with the spirit of adventure

Joel was amazing with helping us book the Inca Jungle Trek! He was very friendly and explained the whole process to us. He answered all of my questions in detail and care. We travelled as a family , with our kids 12 and 14 in April 25, having been recommended this tour and tour company by friends who travelled with them last year. Joel and his team arranged everything from meeting us on arrival into Lima to our dept from Peru. As well as the Inca Jungle tour we booked a personalised trip to include Lima and desert, the incredible Inca Jungle Tour, and to finish a trip to the Amazon. From start to finish everything was arranged to highest standard. Our guides Erick and Robie were amazing, and knew everything about the Inca culture and traditions, as well as Erick's incredible skills in photography, and Robie's wisdom and knowledge of Inca trails and traditions. As the Inca Jungle tour was generally designed for adults they were always checking in how the kids were, and ensuring any planned activities were safe for them, but ours are sporty and used to outdoor activities, and aware of the need to be safe in adventure activity settings, and so they took it all in their stride. Every day held new adventures and activities, so we got a whole range of experiences in one trip - from sandboarding in the desert, to mountain biking, ziplining, rafting and hiking in the Inja jungle, as well as experiencing the incredible heat and ecology of the Amazon Jungle. The Inca jungle tour was definitely the highlight, with its fantastic mix of culture and activities. I would definitely recommend same to anyone who enjoys adventure, including if you have teens who are open to new adventures! Thank you Joel, Erick and Rodie for the family holiday of a lifetime.

Was a great tour, Joel was very helpful thought out the entire process. Had a hiccup with the guide but Joel the manager was very quick and attentive to assist. Overall was a great experience and would definitely recommend. Loved the variety that this tour offered, something different to the typical hikes to Machu Picchu

Although we didn’t book our tour directly with this company, we had the pleasure of meeting its owner on the first day of our Inca Jungle Trek. We hit it off right away! He captured GoPro footage throughout the trip and kindly promised to share it with us, even creating a fun video of our adventure for his Instagram. The Jungle Trek itself was an amazing experience, packed with a variety of activities—mountain biking, rafting, hiking, ziplining, and, of course, trekking to Aguas Calientes and visiting Machu Picchu. We highly recommend this trek for anyone seeking a diverse and adventurous way to explore Machu Picchu.

Rolan Leon Sunoco was our guide and he proved to be a wonderful guide. He was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Rolando explained everything on the way and gave us information about flowers and birds that we encountered on the way. We would love to take more trips with Rolando.

We had the most amazing time trekking the Inca jungle 4 day trek with Jhimmy & the others in the group! Jhimmy was the best tour guide we have ever experienced on any trip. His passion and detail was truly amazing and made the experience 1000 times better. Amazing 4 days experience with one wonderful guy and guide named Jhimmy. I really enjoyed the experience, it was three days full of adventures and incredible landscapes where I was able to take good photographs. The climate in the jungle is warmer than Cusco, which means you can feel at ease in the water! I loved the meals, very tasty food in the places we went and in Santa Teresa the views are spectacular (don't forget to try the pisco sour, delicious). There was even a chance to swim at night in the waters of Cocalmayo! The walk past the hydroelectric plant to Aguas Calientes was very beautiful too. I climbed the stairs to Machupichu, it's demanding but worth it (but optional). All of this would not have been possible without the support of our friendly and attentive guide, Jimmy, from Southern Perú Explorers.
