Not very good if you don’t know every street in York off the back of your hand
Really fun experience for two teams within a hen party, it got very competitive!! The only feedback would be to either have the two teams have different clues, or if they are going to be the same then to suggest that we staggered our start times. We did have a few instances where we were just following each other around on the clues! There were also a couple of clues we had to improvise on as a couple of pathways had been blocked off that we should have taken. But a really enjoyable time and we got to see a lot of the city too
It was a lot of fun and really helped us to see more of the city that we wouldn’t have otherwise! It was a great way to get out and walk around more, as well as helping us to learn more about the city.
This experience is well worth it. It is an interactive murder mystery hunt using your phone and took us through York to places that we would never have seen. The storyline is excellent and the clues make you think and look for the answer. Our group who are in their later years managed with all the walking and felt a great sense of achievement when it was completed. I would recommend this for all whether you are a pensioner, teenager or a family and are looking for something different to do whilst visiting.
The clues can be quiet hard and need to think about answers otherwise you can quickly become lost in York
HI Michael - there are hint and lost messages to help at any time :)
Brilliant - we didn't know York very well so was great to wander around and learn about the city. We went places we wouldn't have ever found before. We really recommend this game and found it fun and easy to understand.
Really happy to hear you had a fun time Izzy :)
Really fun experience, clues were set at a good level and sea parts of York we probably would have not seem. Only issue we had was second to last clue, was quite vague and took you to a part of town that you would rather not go to
We really enjoyed ourselves but we think your final clue was wrong and told us to turn left instead of right..
Hi Rae, glad to hear you had a fun time - I've forwarded your concern to the creative team and we'll see what's going on with that last clue! Hope to see you again soon!
After the first clue wich took us a while, Then we was on our way ,it was very enjoyable had a very good day but didn't manage to finish it as ran out of time
Hi Christine, feel free to continue on any other date, you're more than welcome to split over multiple dates!
We had a great time but a couple of clues may need adjusting slightly..the unnecessary red iron ( an early clue) has been painted black. Plus the alley opposite the church was very misleading as there is an adjacent alley named ate o'clock which leads to a restaurant only and the clue became very confusing afterwards. However we enjoyed the experience and saw new things 😊
