It was a fun adventure. I did it with my 21 y/daughter. The clues weren't too complicated and we were able to relatively easily figure them out while enjoying a sunny, but chilly January day. $25 a person doesn't seem to extreme. Recommend.
Fun scavenger hunt through Chelsea. Walked about 5 miles all in with stops at Chelsea Market and the High Line. Some clues were harder than others especially the "block shaped windows" one. Only thing I didn't get was the last clue, but maybe that's on me for not getting a hint.
This tour is great. The app layers a Murder Mystery onto a standard walking tour, and it was a lot of fun. The tour itself goes through Greenwich/West Village and Chelsea. Directions/Clues are sent through WhatsApp. Technically, they're puzzles, but they were all easy to follow/decipher and we never had to ask for a hint. The only improvement I would suggest is adding background on the places you go to. Many of them have historical significance, but the tour has no info on them. I googled all of the sites for background and that added a lot to our experience (do this!). Be aware that there are two recommended breaks/stops on the tour and the first one was at a location that doesn't open until 2pm. Since we did the tour in the morning, this was a minor inconvenience.
Great activity for a solo traveler (and I’m sure a group) to see unique parts of NYC! Had fun and recommend the experience for others - particularly those traveling alone that might not want to join a group of strangers on a tour.
Was a really good game. Bit tricky following 2 sets of messages at the same time especially on a sunny day its hard to see your phone screen. Wear comfortable shoes, take water with you and have a power bank for your phone just in case.
