Can not fault this trip. Well paced, great food & the best guides; would recommend to anyone interested in trekking Mount Toubkal ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Said was an amazing guide, organization was good, they picked us up from Marrakech and dropped us back at our hotel at the end of the tour, I highly recommend it
Great experience in every way. Everyone was very welcoming, from the taxi drivers to the Toubkal guides. The accommodation was hard to fault, the food was plentiful and excellent. There were no dramas, everything went like clockwork. 9/10
We had an amazing trip to Mount Toubkal. Our tour guides were excellent. They were very helpful all throughout the journey. We were well fed, well looked after and just had an amazing time. Special thanks to Jawab, Muhammad, the cook and muleteers
On the first day, we started at Imlil at a rental shop where we could also leave our luggage and rented crampons, sticks for two, and one headlamp for 160 dirham which I found quite expensive given that the equipment was functional, but rather old. You could also rent gloves, jackets and other equipment. We started by walking around 2 hours until we had lunch. Then we continued walking probably around 4-5hours until we reached the refuge. There are some small shops offering water, orange juice or coke along the way, where we stopped for small breaks. At the refuge we slept with around 30 other people in a room. They provide you with blankets and it is rather warm (if not to say hot) - so there is no need for warm sleeping bags. There are even (cold, but not super cold) showers at the refuge, but you need to bring a towel if you want to use them. At the refuge you could buy chocolate and water (e.g one bottle for 15 dirham). We had a nice dinner there and went to bed early since we had to wake up around 3 the next day. We had breakfast and started to hike in the dark. After around half an hour we had to put the crampons on. Our guide helped us to put them on. We made our way to the summit for around 3 more hours. Having made it to the summit, we took some pictures and went all the way back to Imlil. Around 2 we had lunch at the spot where we ate on the day before. Overall, we had a memorable trip with a nice guide! I would recommend bringing along some snacks - although there was plenty of food sometimes there were around 8 hours between the meals so having some snacks doesn’t hurt. If you did not bring anything, you can buy chocolate and some other treats along the way.
We had a really great experience in hiking up the Toubkal trek. Transport - perfect Guide - we went with Moustpha and he was a great guide. He helped us in every difficult path and explain everything we asked about. Only can be improved the food. The second day you are provided with a poor beakfast at 4.30am and they do not provide any more food until 1pm... I highly recommend this experience!
Great Mohamed. Our Berber Sherpa, originally from a village near Imlil, was a sure guide for a definitely not very "touristy" experience, with all its pros and cons: immersion in the simple life of a poor, wild, welcoming mountaineering. The sunrise at 4200 was unforgettable, preceded by a night in a well-kept shelter. Mohamed in particular was a simple but fundamental presence to live well the whole, present but discreet, certainly much better at witnessing the life of the place than explaining it.
We had a very nice hiking trip in the Atlas. Everything was very well organized. Last minute, my son had a problem with his food but he could still join the trip on the back of a mule. Thanks very much for this flexibility!
Great experience, guide was really friendly and helpful and the food was really good. Trekking the atlas mountains up to Mt Toubkal summit was amazing and great value for money. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
It was amazing track to Toubkal. Mustafa is the best guide ever. Very kind and cared about us every minute, asked about our health and physical condition. If you go to Toubkal with Mustafa or Abdellatif you'll feel safe and comfortable. If I come to Morocco again I'll take opportunity to go trek in the High Atlas again. Recommend to all.
