Ikebana ist die Japanische Kunst des Blumenarrangements. Diese traditionelle und formale Kunst mag esoterisch erscheinen, aber das ist nicht der Fall. Jeder ist in der Lage, ein fantastisches Kunstwerk selbst zu schaffen, nachdem er die grundlegenden Konzepte und Fähigkeiten dieser Kunst erworben hat. Das Erlernen von Ikebana fördert ein besseres Verständnis der Japanischen Sicht auf die Natur; ein entscheidender Schritt, um die einzigartige Ästhetik, Emotionen und Gedanken zu schätzen, die zu dieser Form der bildenden Kunst verschmelzen. Blumenarrangieren war früher ein gefordertes "Manierismus" für gut ausgebildete Männer, wie Samurais oder Mönche. Es wäre eine Verschwendung, unsere wirklich einzigartige Kultur nicht zu erleben! 1. Anleitung : Wenn Sie die Anleitung beobachten, lernen Sie die grundlegenden Konzepte, so dass Sie ein Bild für Ihre eigene Arbeit erfassen können. 3. Hands-on : Versuchen Sie, ein ikebana Kunstwerk selbst zu erstellen! Wir helfen Ihnen, wenn Sie es brauchen.

The Ikebana Experience was a highlight of our fantastic trip to Japan. Kimi is delightful and gave us a deeper understanding of the history and philosophy of ikebana. Then she gently and enthusiastically instructed us in making our own flower arrangements. The townhouse where she teaches is itself lovely and traditional. People we showed photos of our arrangements couldn't believe how good they were. This was definitely worth the stop.

We did the Ikebana experience with Kimiko. She explained the history of Ikebana and the evolution of styles over the ages. Next the use of direction and space was demonstrated. My wife and I then made a flower arrangement with some minor hints from Kimiko. We could not believe that we actually created a beautiful Ikebana. Great cultural experience.

This is an excellent cultural immersion experience with a knowledgeable and friendly host and teacher. Kami-san is an expert and a caring master and teacher of ikebana. The experience is relaxing and rewarding.

Book now - I wish I had done all three classes, but the other two were full one day prior. Kimi fit me into the one class, she was welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable. She started with the history of Ikebana and always stopped to ask if I was understanding her along the way. Her English is very good, and she is a natural teacher - HIGHLY recommend!!

I can recommend the lesson whole heartedly. Kimi is a great teacher and a really kind person. She explained the basic well before we started to try to do our own Ikebana. The atmosphere there was very relaxing and we could really let our selfs go.

We had an absolutely wonderful morning with Ami Kyoto, it was very informative and interesting, and we then made our wonderful arrangements with beautiful seasonal flowers. The setting was just beautiful and our teacher was so warm and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this activity.
