Gulzar Houz wurde 350 Fuß äquidistant von der Char Kaman Umgebung gebaut. Anfangs war es 12 Seiten lang, dann wurde es achteckig und sieht heute fast kreisförmig aus. Es war ein achteckiges Wasserreservoir, das den Durst der Soldaten, Händler und Reisenden stillen sollte.
Char Kaman - also vier Tore. Nach der Fertigstellung von Charminar, etwa 75 Meter nördlich, wurden 1592 vier hohe Bögen, bekannt als Char Kaman, vom Gründer zusammen mit Gulzar Houz gebaut. Die Namen der vier Bögen sind Charminar Kaman, Machli Kaman, Kali Kaman und Sher-e-Batil-Ki-Kaman. Die Bögen sind fünfzig Fuß hoch und begrenzen einen offenen Platz, vor dem einst ein Qutb Shahi Palast existierte
Pathar Gatti wurde während der Herrschaft des letzten Nizam des Bundesstaates Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan im Jahr 1911 erbaut. Golconda Fort war ursprünglich als Mankal bekannt und wurde auf einem Hügel im Jahr 1143 gebaut. Es war ursprünglich eine Lehmburg unter der Herrschaft von Rajah von Warangal. Das innere Fort enthält Ruinen von Palästen, Moscheen und einen Hügelpavillon, der sich etwa 130 Meter hoch erhebt und einen Blick aus der Vogelperspektive auf andere Gebäude gewährt. Der König errichtete eine Lehmburg um diese heilige Stätte und nach 200 Jahren nahmen Bahamani-Herrscher den Ort in Besitz. Später bauten die Könige von Qutub Shahi dieses in ein massives Granitfort um, das sich über 5 km erstreckte.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic experience exploring Hyderabad with our guide, Mohammed Ruknuddin. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the city’s rich history and culture. Mohammed brought each site to life with fascinating stories and historical insights, making places like Charminar, Golconda Fort, and the city’s other landmarks even more memorable. He was patient, attentive, and always happy to answer questions, while also ensuring the tour moved at a comfortable pace. The tour was well organized and gave us a wonderful introduction to Hyderabad’s heritage, architecture, and local traditions. Thanks to his expertise, we gained a much deeper appreciation for the city than we would have on our own. I highly recommend Mohammed Ruknuddin and this tour to anyone visiting Hyderabad. As a solo traveler visiting Hyderabad on business, I made it a point to carve out one full day to see the city’s top attractions, including Golconda Fort, Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Chowmahalla Palace. I found this private full‑day guided tour, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. I was able to coordinate easily with Mr. Matta and our driver for hotel pickup and drop‑off, which was invaluable. With India’s traffic—and my limited international travel experience—having everything arranged made me feel comfortable and safe from the start. India is wonderfully different from the U.S., but it can feel intimidating at first, and this tour removed that stress entirely. Golconda Fort absolutely lived up to the hype, and Mr. Matta was incredibly patient and encouraging during the long climb up the steps. His knowledge and calm demeanor made the experience both enjoyable and manageable. Charminar and Laad Bazaar were unforgettable—the atmosphere, the energy, the shopping—it was a true sensory experience. A special thank‑you to Mr. Matta for guiding me through the maze of endless shops and helping me find the perfect place to purchase the famous Laad bangles. Watching them being made right in front of my eyes was incredible, and his help negotiating a fair price was greatly appreciated. After learning that I dabble in sewing, Mr. Matta also took me to a wonderful shop filled with beautiful trims and embroidery, where I was able to purchase stunning embroidered appliqués—an unexpected and delightful highlight of the day. Chowmahalla Palace was a photographer’s dream, overflowing with breathtaking architectural details. Although professional cameras were not permitted, my cell phone still captured the splendor and beauty of the palace. I highly recommend business travelers take time away from work to truly experience Hyderabad and its beauty. Mr. Matta is an excellent guide, and this private tour was absolutely perfect.
We had a lovely time with Mr. Matta! He is very knowledgeable, and showed us many interesting sites around Hyderabad. It was a very full day, and included delicious cookies and tea, along with a hearty lunch at a local neighbourhood spot. We learned a lot, and enjoyed one of the best views overlooking the city atop Golconda Fort. Highly recommend the day! Pro tip: wear comfortable walking shoes.

We learned a lot of history of Hyderabad from our guide, Matta S Reddy. The highlights were the Golconda fort and the Birla Temple . Mata was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was also very accommodating as we added another person to our group at the last minute and he adjusted the itinerary to meet our needs. I highly recommend taking his tour.
