Der Safariführer Kalum organisiert seit über 15 Jahren Touren zum Minneriya-Nationalpark und verfügt über ein großes Verständnis für das Verhalten und die Routinen der Elefanten im Nationalpark. Er schlug vor, dass wir ein besseres Erlebnis hätten, wenn wir unsere Tour morgens machen würden, wenn weniger Autos da wären und wir mehr private Begegnungen mit den Elefanten hätten, anstatt uns für die Nachmittagstour zu entscheiden, bei der wir zwar mehr Elefanten gesehen hätten, aber auch viel mehr Autos, was unser Erlebnis eindeutig verdorben hätte. Wir waren skeptisch, diese Entscheidung zu treffen, aber wir entschieden uns, Kalums Fachwissen und Erfahrung zu vertrauen. Von Anfang an nahm unser Führer eine andere Richtung als alle anderen Safarifahrzeuge, was dazu führte, dass wir private, nahe Begegnungen mit den Elefanten hatten. Kalum tat sein Bestes, um sein Fahrzeug so zu positionieren, dass er uns während der gesamten Tour die besten Fotokompositionen ermöglichte, so dass wir Nahaufnahmen von den Elefanten in den Minneriya-/Kaudulla-/Hurulu-Parks machen konnten.

Alle Reisenden, die weniger als 10 km von der Stadt Habarana entfernt sind, können wir von ihrem Hotel abholen. Sie können uns ihren Standort per Whatsup oder auf einem einfacheren Weg mitteilen. Wenn nicht, können wir uns in der Stadt Habarana treffen

As a family of five, we had the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka for a two-week trip. One of our highlights was definitely our safari in Kaudulla National Park, which was conducted by Kalum Jeep Safari. It is one thing to enjoy the wildlife in this park, especially the elephants. It is another thing to enjoy the guide. Through him we saw crocodiles, wild monitor lizards and other wildlife like amazing birds that we would never have recognized ourselves. Our guide had the right instinct to be in the right place at the right time. He also helped us take memorable photos, such as on his car, and he gave us time whenever and wherever we needed it. He even stopped outside the park to give us our time with other wild elephants or to organize fresh watermelon for us. We as a family would like to thank Mr. Kalum for his kindness and coolness. :-)

We had a great safari with kalum, where we saw far more elephants and all were super close. Kalum is a true nature lover who delighted in showing us many birds and reptiles as well but it is obvious he knows the elephants and the parks really well as he put us onto the elephants on a day when many of the other guides were originally struggling. Would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to do an elephant jeep safari while in Sri Lanka

Kalum was am awesome guide. We saw SO many elephants amongst other wildlife on our safari. Would definitely use him as a guide in the future. Highly recommend!

Kalum is a great tourguide and can tell you a lot about all the animals we saw. He drives around as long as you need and does everything to give you the best experience at the tour!

Great time.with Kalum He has good explanations and he Knows how.to be alone in the Park ( he doesn't go where.all 4x4 go..) WE Saw plenty of.elephants with him
