Beautiful way to see the sights of London! Crew was amazing, made the whole experience a pleasure!!!
While our outbound journey from Tower Pier to Greenwich went smoothly, the return trip revealed a severe lack of operational coordination, scheduling reliability, and internal communication. If you are relying on this service for timed transit, be aware of several critical failure points we experienced: Unannounced Schedule Changes: The frequency of return ships was reduced without any prior notice to passengers. When a ship was finally scheduled to arrive, a promised "10-minute delay" stretched into a full hour. On-site pier staff had no information regarding the cause of the delay or when a vessel would arrive. Contradictory Instructions (Pier vs. Crew): There is a clear disconnect between land-based pier staff and the ship crews. When we finally boarded, pier staff informed us the boat would bypass Tower Pier and go straight to Westminster. They explicitly assured us we could stay on the vessel at Westminster and ride it back to Tower Pier. However, upon docking at Westminster, the ship crew contradicted this entirely, terminating the service and ordering everyone off the boat. Total Lack of Customer Updates: After being forced off at Westminster, pier staff told us to wait 30 minutes for the next ship. We waited over 70 minutes with absolutely no sign of a vessel and zero proactive communication or updates from the staff on the dock. Ultimately, the service became entirely non-viable, forcing us to abandon our river tickets and pay for the Tube to get back. The physical vessels are fine, but the management, real-time scheduling, and cross-staff communication are highly unreliable. If you have a schedule to keep, you may want to look for alternative transport.

The book ride had lots to see along the Thames River. The commentary provided by one of the crew men was interesting and we were able to hear it.
No just no horrible went less than a mile, around a corner
Trip showed sights of London you would miss from the roads. Good commentary during journey. Allow time though for boat sailings yo be cancelled. We went for 10.40 departure but boat did not appear and nobody came to the queue to explain. Next departure took place but we had lost 40+mins of our planned time in Greenwich plus next stop took longer to board due to extra size of the queue
This Hop On Hop Off river cruise was a great way to see many place in Central London. It was so convenient to access and explore different parts of the city and not worry about traffic or hiring a car.
Good commentary. Warm day - could sit inside with ac, or outside. Only complaint- seats outside are metal.
Nice relaxing cruise down the River Thames. Clean bathroom facilities and they have food and drinks for sell.
If you buy a bus tour ticket you get a free 30 minute one way cruise from Westminster pier to Tower pier. Or the other way. On a sunny day it is worth doing. I got my ticket upgraded to a return ticket to Greenwich which lasted under an hour, giving you options to visit some of the attractions in Greenwich. The upgrade cost me around £10. There is live commentary on board which is pretty good, although you can expect them to pull out their bucket at the end wanting you to part with more money for the 'extra service' they provide. The food on board is overpriced. I wanted a small can of 'coke with ice' on what was the hottest day of the year, to which I ordered on their online service. What I got was a warm can of coke and no ice. They had ran out of it. All in all, it is worth doing on a hot day. Just take your own food.
