This was quirky but also entertaining! The guys made you laugh as they worked diligently to show you their talents of wood chopping through competition
We arrived on the NCL Encore to Ward Cove about 7 miles from "downtown" Ketchikan. The Lumberjack show was relocated from Ketchikan to Ward Cove approximately May 2026. The new location is built at the former site of the Ward Cove Pulp Mill. The mill was the largest pulp mill on the USA prior to closing in 1997. We saw the show about 10 years ago at the old site, the new site is more modern, with great sound and no bad seats. The show goes on rain(likely) or shine(less likely). The seating area is covered so you won't get wet. There are 4 lumber sports athletes who compete in various lumberjack skills. Bottom line: Not to be missed, well worth the ticket price.
The show was very entertaining. The lumberjacks were very skilled at their craft. The wind was cold so be sure to carry a jacket.
Terrific fun, everyone in the audience seemed to fully enjoy the competitions and fun banter.
Great show! Family friendly and very entertaining. We would definitely recommend.
Whitty, clean humor. Nice staff. Jimmy (Doc Holliday look-a-like) was our axe throwing instructor and he was very good. He gave us great advice on how to throw the axes and even gave us tips about what to visit while visiting Ketchikan. We saw Ethan outside the venue in his regular clothes and was super nice. Great family experience!
Staff inside the store were rude, especially the older woman who was being incredibly rude while quoting scripture. Wanted to buy but didn’t due to staff. Show was cute and fun.
Very well organised and well worth the money a good experience for all ages, under cover so if raining no problem
Obviously built as a tourist attraction, but still, the skills were real! First time I had ever heard of timber sports. Highly recommend.
Exactly what you would expect - a one hour show with some funny jokes and some impressive demonstrations. Great for families.
