Aaze was a great tour guide, he’s very fluent in English and is very confident and knowledgeable on the subject that is this tour. He was also very accommodating making sure we were in the shade and that we were hydrated as much as possible given how the heat was the entirety of the day.
Great tour. Khan tailored our experience since we were with an 8th old child. Very appreciative for the experience!
Aaze was an excellent, well informed quide, who worked hard to maximize our experience and enjoyment. His knowledge was obvious and he used it to enhance our understanding of Hiroshima. He stressed the value of continuing to work towards peace.
We took our tour today with our tour guide, Ali. It was a rainy day but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our experience. Ali was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the entire background of Hiroshima. He took us to every area of Peace Park and even took our photos at multiple of the monuments and locations. He took the time to explain each monument and its significance to the events that happened to Hiroshima in 1945. We were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of everything and how well he explained it all. We spent about 2 hours in Peace Park and then it was time for the Museum. Ali took us inside to the museum and let us know that he couldn’t guide us inside as speaking was prohibited in the museum. He still brought us inside and explained the entire route of the museum prior to us starting our tour so we could have all the necessary information about what to look for and what route to take inside. Overall, we had a great experience despite the rain and we recommend booking this tour for anyone who wants to better understand and see the impacts within Hiroshima from 1945. Thank you Ali for giving us a wonderful experience and for boosting our knowledge of the events impacting this city.
I knew a little about the bombing of Hiroshima; however; the guide provided a lot of details I did not know.
Ali is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We found him to be very nice and thoughtful. He does the little extra things like including a bookmark made from recycled crane origami.
Very thorough and emotional tour. James was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He took us to most sites around the museum first which was nice because then we could do the museum part of the tour at our own pace.
Very informative tour, Khan was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, even despite the rain. I would recoomend this tour
In our view having somebody local explain the monuments, meaning and context of the Peace Park is invaluable. Being able to ask questions and have further explanation was great.
We had the absolute privilege of experiencing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park through Khan’s private tour, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Khan brought history to life with a level of clarity that you can’t get from guidebooks or self-guided walks. Every stop felt meaningful—each story thoughtfully shared, balancing historical context with personal humanity in a way that was both deeply moving and respectful. Khan was attentive to our own reasons for visiting this very special site. He created space for reflection while gently guiding us through the park’s most powerful sites, ensuring we not only understood what happened, but felt the importance of remembering it. His knowledge was exceptional, but it was his sincerity and empathy that made the experience unforgettable. If you’re visiting Hiroshima, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Khan. It will profoundly shape your understanding of the city’s history and leave a lasting impression long after you’ve left. Highly, highly recommended.
