This tour is amazing. Great crew. Very informative and knowledgeable. Smaller boat than larger boat tours but very stable and easy for all on board to see.

"If you are visiting Maui,a whale watching tour with Maui Reef Explorers is a must-do. Our boat Captain Esteban was amazing finding whales.Our guide was a marine naturalist , making the experience both fun and educational for the kids. We saw several humpback whales, including a mother and her active calf showing off their pectoral fins & tail slapping.They use a great 'clock system' (12:00 for the front of the boat) to help everyone get a view. The boat was comfortable, clean, and provided great photo opportunities".

Tour guides were great and we saw a lot of whales. The tour guides gave lots of information on whale migration and habits. The music on the boat was also very good.

The entire experience was Great!! The crew was wonderful, the experience was wonderful and would recommend to anyone interested in whale watching.

We had an amazing afternoon on this trip! Even though the other passengers booked weren’t able to make it, our tour still happened. Chloe, the naturalist, and the captain, Estevan, were both knowledgeable and attentive. We saw plenty of whales, learned about the whale population in Maui, got to hear the whale songs through a hydrophone (and were also provided with great sandwiches and juices.) Would highly recommend booking with them!

Fantastic! Small group, everyone could see very well, able to walk around boat and take pictures. Comfortable chairs, snacks and cold drinks. The three in charge (one in training) were very informative about the whales, could answer any question. Always shouting out which location to look out at, related to a clock, like 2 o’clock. Etc. Definitely liked the intimate group compared to the giant boats. Would absolutely choose them again!

Fun, knowledgeable crew. The boat was smaller so you could see the whales from all seats. Snack's and drinks were provided.

What a wonderful excursion! We saw several whales. Some just peaking out of the water but others were full back and some tail flutes! Amazing. Staff were very friendly and informative. Definitely rate this high fives!

We had been on whale watching tours in Alaska and British Columbia in the past year. The tour in Maui definitely offer better weather conditions. The highlight of the tour was seeing a whale and her calf. Viewing the mating competition pod was a new experience. We enjoyed the tour and liked the short duration as it did not impact the entire day on Maui.

We loved this raft. Absolutely spotless. Great comfortable seats too. We saw lots of Whales and the young lady ( sorry I forgot your name ! ) and Ryan were so knowledgeable about the Whales which made it really interesting. The best craft to travel in to go Whale watching. Had a great morning. Thanks so much
