Great way to get the facts that a guide book wouldn’t tell you. Justin was a mind of useful information on the current and past history of the area. Really knew his stuff and pointed out so many interesting facts about the various buildings and the high line which made it a really informative tour.
My wife and I highly recommend taking a tour through Hudson Yards and the High Line. If you enjoy great stories and a pleasant atmosphere, this is an experience not to be missed. We were greeted by a wonderful and charming older gentleman, Steve Krantz, who’s truly in his prime. He shared countless stories and anecdotes about the area and its many buildings, including The Edge and the Vessel. By the time the tour ends, you’ll have gained a wealth of knowledge—and had plenty of good laughs—thanks to Steve’s engaging and humorous guiding style.
Quite unique! A very interesting bit of architecture, which you can enjoy inside and outside, as well as the view from the top. You can take an elevator up or just walk up - not that high but great for some interesting photos. Next to Hudson yards shopping mall with great array of shops inside.
A beautiful walk of about 40 minutes to see how rail lines are turned into a beautiful garden area . So environmentally perfect for the area. All the plants had their identification and were easy to read,
The walk of the High Line is not only very beautiful but it has an intriguing backstory. Definitely worth going there, especially if you want to escape the big crowds and the loud dirty streets of Manhattan. Look for the free tours on Wednesday and Saturday led by volunteers!
The high line is a wonderful place to visit and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts.
