Versteckte Wasserfälle Ökotour im El Imposible Nationalpark

Beschreibung

The tour was amazing, it was the best experience we had in El Salvador, we highly recommend it, the guides are super friendly and explain everything in many details. The only thing is that we realized that when booking through this platform the price is much more expensive than what they actually charge.
The tour is well entertained. It takes good fitness and love of adventure.
We had such a great experience hiking in El Imposible National Park, easily one of the most adventurous things we’ve done in El Salvador. The day started with a wild dirt road drive, then a hike through a forest to waterfalls where we swam and climbed. This section was steep so not for the faint-hearted. At the top we had lunch by a natural pool and later continued our hike upstream. Another impressive waterfall was inside a canyon which we climbed up using ropes this time. Our guide William was great and we learned a lot about the local plants. Highly recommend to adventurous travelers!
Thanks for leaving such a detailed comment! We appreciate it and are so happy that you enjoyed your day in the park with our experienced guides!
Highlight of our trip! We loved all the parts of this adventure: the drive to the park, “surfing” in the 4x4 truck, hiking and learning about the jungle medicinal plants, relaxing and jumping and climbing in the waterfalls, a sweet and savory lunch break, and shared refreshments with our guide to celebrate our achievements! We look for an experience where we don’t have crowds of people nearby and this was perfect!
Thanks David, it was a pleasure having you on the tour with us. It's always a pleasure to show these incredible places to people from around the world. See you again some day!
Even though I wasn’t ultimately able to go on the tour I had planned, I can’t say enough good things about this company. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and accommodating. They answered all of my questions promptly and worked thoughtfully with my schedule. Their communication was clear and kind throughout, and I would absolutely book with them in the future.
It was very unfortunate that you couldn’t work out a time to come on an adventure with us. We really hope to see you in the future on your next visit to ES :)
Our whole trip was absolutely unforgettable and filled with so much joy from beginning to end. We truly had the best time! William and the entire team were beyond amazing — incredibly kind, welcoming, funny, and full of positive energy. They made us feel comfortable right away and turned the whole experience into something really special. The adventure started with a bumpy ride in the back of a pickup truck, which was already an experience on its own and set the tone for the after. It felt exciting and authentic, and we were laughing the whole way. After that, we began a hike through the park that lasted about three hours. It was the perfect length — long enough to feel like a real adventure, but enjoyable the entire time. Along the way, we learned so much about the local trees and plants. The guides shared fascinating information about which plants are edible, which are poisonous, and how they are used. It was educational, engaging, and never boring thanks to their humor and storytelling. At the end of the hike, we were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset that felt almost magical. To top it all off, we finished the day in the local hot springs, which were absolutely perfect for relaxing our sore muscles. It was the most wonderful way to end such a beautiful day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was organized perfectly, and the guides truly made it exceptional. Highly recommended! ✨💯
Wow! What an incredible review Thanks so much for taking the time to do that and we are so happy that you and your friends enjoyed your time with our guides in the park! 😍 See you next time!!
We went on a tour with 11 female friends. We had an amazing time! The tour started with a hike through the forest, then we had a swim at a beautiful waterfall, and we hiked upwards the river, and climbed up a waterfall. It was very adventurous and fun! The scenery was absolutely beautiful. William, Edwin and our driver Nery were amazing: they were super friendly and gave a lot of information. They also listened well to our preferences and we had a lovely lunch with guacamole! It was a highlight of our trip: absolutely gorgeous, adventurous and fun! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for taking the time to review El Salvatours! We are so happy to be considered your highlight! Come back one day!
We did this hike with 11 girls of 24 years old. William Uno and Edwin were super nice and taught us a lot about the plants. The day consisted of beautiful waterfalls, testing our climbing skills and swimming! (Be aware that you will get completely wet) Afterwards we were tested to see if we remembered the information about the plants. Two of our girls won a shirt and cap from el Salvatours. Truly an unforgettable day!
What a lovely review! You sure do get soaked on our waterfalls tour! haha
This is a must do trip for the adventurous couple or family. The day was strenuous and exhilarating. The guides were great and the kids loved it. ((2) 8 year olds and an 11 year old) I would definitely recommend wearing sneakers and planning on getting them wet.
We love taking kids into the park! So great to have such an adventurous family
What a thrill! The Hidden Waterfalls tour was like nothing we have ever done. If you are looking for an off the beaten path kind of experience and an authentic immersion in culture AND nature, well, THIS IS IT. Be ready for adventure and to be stimulated with extraordinary beauty. Just the start of the day, before we even began the hike, was fabulous - a delicious traditional breakfast, then jumping onto back of pick up truck, dodging vines as we zipped down bumpy dirt road with sweeping views of the pacific ocean and jungle canyons down below, crossing rivers and passing coffee plantations. And then it starts, you step out of truck in deep jungle and are led down to the river, hardly even a path but our wonderful guide Edwin forged the way with his machete, stopping as we went to teach us about plants and their medicinal uses. First you hear the sound of the falls, and then the towering cascading water appears before you in all its beauty. Truly awesome sight and to be in its pool and feeling its spray and hearing its roar was extraordinary. And then you carry on for another couple of hours, working your way up the river and various waterfalls. Be prepared to get wet, shoes and all: we had to swim across water holes, the rocks and ledges can be slippery and you must have good balance and stamina. We are both in our 50s but in good shape but we definitely feel it the next day! There is plenty of hiking both up and downhill, lots of scrambling over rocks, many chances to swim, and a very welcome stop in the middle of it all to have fresh fruit and homemade tortillas and guacamole. Wow.Edwin, our guide, is extremely knowledgeable and kind; he grew up in the jungle and shared his deep knowledge. We both speak fluent spanish so that definitely helps enrich the experience, but it would be equally great even if not able to communicate with them. Edwin's competence and guidance with safety as a priority came through. He also has a deep respect and love for the jungle and the forest and the river, which was infectious and admirable. It was 4 hours of an immersion in nature, an immersion in culture, an immersion in adventure, and we came away feeling deeply grateful and privileged for experiencing it.
Thank you so much for this incredible review! Our guides really do love their jobs! Honestly we absolutely love hearing this. Thanks again
