Während dieser Tour besuchen Sie einige der schönsten Städte der Herzegowina, wie die Wasserfälle Jablanica, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj und Kravice. Der Eintritt zu allen Touristenattraktionen ist kostenlos, mit Ausnahme des Eintritts zu den Kravice-Wasserfällen, der in der Saison 10 EUR pro Person kostet. Zuerst fahren wir nach Jablanica, einer Stadt im Kanton Herzegowina-Neretva. Anschließend besuchen wir Mostar, das für seine berühmte Alte Brücke bekannt ist, eine rekonstruierte mittelalterliche Bogenbrücke über den Fluss Neretva. Danach fahren wir nach Blagaj, wo es sich empfiehlt, eine Mittagspause in einem Restaurant neben der Quelle des Flusses Buna einzulegen. Darüber hinaus fahren wir nach Počitelj, einer historischen mittelalterlichen Stadt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Unser letzter Halt wird an den Kravice-Wasserfällen sein, einem beliebten Ort für viele Menschen zum Entspannen und Erholen an heißen Sommertagen. Hier kann man sogar schwimmen gehen!

Die historische Stadt Mostar, die sich über ein tiefes Tal des Flusses Neretva erstreckt, entwickelte sich im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert als osmanische Grenzstadt und während der österreichisch-ungarischen Zeit im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Mostar ist seit langem bekannt für seine alten türkischen Häuser und die alte Brücke Stari Most, nach der es benannt ist. In den 1990er-Jahren wurden jedoch der größte Teil der vom renommierten Architekten Sinan entworfenen historischen Stadt und der Alten Brücke zerstört. Die alte Brücke wurde kürzlich wieder aufgebaut und viele der Gebäude in der Altstadt wurden mit der Unterstützung eines internationalen wissenschaftlichen Komitees, das von der UNESCO eingesetzt wurde, restauriert oder wieder aufgebaut.

Blagaj Tekija ist ein knapp 600 Jahre altes Derwischkloster außerhalb von Mostar, Bosnien. Es befindet sich am Fuße einer Klippe neben der Quelle des Flusses Buna und ist eine einzigartige und malerische Reihe von Gebäuden, die persönlich noch besser aussehen als auf Bildern.
Es wird angenommen, dass die befestigte Stadt zusammen mit den dazugehörigen Siedlungen 1383 vom bosnischen König Stjepan Tvrtko I. erbaut wurde. Die ummauerte Stadt Počitelj entstand im Zeitraum vom 16. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert. Architektonisch handelt es sich bei den aus Stein gebauten Teilen der Stadt um einen befestigten Komplex, in dem zwei Entwicklungsstufen erkennbar sind: das Mittelalter und das Osmanische.
Die Kravice-Wasserfälle, ursprünglich als Kravica-Wasserfälle bekannt, sind eine der schönsten Naturstätten in der herzegowinischen Region Bosnien und Herzegowina. Es liegt am Fluss Trebižat und stürzt von einer besonders großen Tuffsteinlagerstätte auf den darunter liegenden See. Das gesamte Gebiet ist von der Landesregierung geschützt, aber es ist für die lokale Öffentlichkeit und Touristen für Besuche und sogar zum Schwimmen geöffnet.

We really enjoyed the trip from Sarajevo to Herzegovina. We went in mid of December where temperature in Sarajevo was -1 and we could see the temperature going up as we approached Herzegovina. Our guide was Vekas. We, including kids, liked him a lot. Vekas is very friendly, quietly spoken, and a very gentle person. He was more of a friend with us than a guide. We went to Jablanica, Kravic, Pocitelj, Mostar, and Blagaj. We had a wonderful lunch in Blagaj. It is shame that night falls fast in December, otherwise we could have seen more of the beautiful Herzegovina.

Amazing tour! Our guide Vekas was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and full of recommendations. He picked us up at our apartment, drove us out to the beautiful countryside, and stopped at five beautiful locations. We never would’ve seen as much for so little money without this tour. We even stopped at an amazing restaurant for lunch. This tour showed us so much of the country- there’s so much more to see than just Sarajevo. I highly recommend this tour. Don’t miss it.

We took a tour with Vekas from Torus Tours, stopping at Jablanica, Kravice, Blagaj and Mostar. Communication was great and Vekas text me the day before to confirm details of pickup, also letting us choose the music in the car! He was very friendly, chatty and informative, telling us the history of each place, and also gave us some time to explore on our own.
