Oodi ist Helsinkis atemberaubende Zentralbibliothek, die 2018 eröffnet wurde. Das Olympiastadion Helsinki, das 1938 eröffnet wurde und von Yrjö Lindegren und Toivo Jäntti entworfen wurde, ist Finnlands größtes Stadion und ein Wahrzeichen funktionalistischer Architektur. Es war bekannt als Austragungsort der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1952 und ist auch nach seiner letzten Renovierung im Jahr 2020 ein wichtiger Veranstaltungsort für Sport und Veranstaltungen.
Das Sibelius-Denkmal ist eine berühmte Skulptur in Helsinki, Finnland, zu Ehren des Komponisten Jean Sibelius. Sie wurde 1967 von Eila Hiltunen entworfen und zeigt über 600 Stahlrohre und eine Büste von Sibelius, die seine Musik und sein Vermächtnis symbolisiert.
Die Uspenski-Kathedrale ist Helsinkis markante rot gemauerte ostorthodoxe Kirche, die für ihre goldenen Kuppeln und den Blick auf die Hügel bekannt ist. Es ist die größte orthodoxe Kathedrale Westeuropas.
Die Kathedrale von Helsinki ist eine neoklassizistische weiße Kirche mit grünen Kuppeln und Blick auf den Senatsplatz. Es wurde 1852 fertiggestellt und ist eines der berühmtesten Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
Kauppatori oder Marktplatz ist Helsinkis lebendiger Markt am Wasser, berühmt für seine lokale Küche, Kunsthandwerk und lebendige Atmosphäre am Meer. Hier verbringen wir etwa 30 Minuten und geben Ihnen Zeit, finnische Küche oder eine leichte Erfrischung zu genießen, während Sie den einzigartigen Charme des Marktes genießen.
Suomenlinna ist eine historische Seefestung aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe vor der Küste von Helsinki. Während unseres Besuchs werden wir etwa zwei Stunden damit verbringen, gemeinsam die malerischen Wege und die faszinierende Geschichte zu erkunden.
Kauppatori bedeutet auf Finnisch “der Marktplatz”. Nachdem wir von Suomenlinna mit der Fähre zurück sind, endet unsere Tour hier. Sie haben freie Zeit, die charmanten Stände zu erkunden, lokale Leckereien zu probieren und die lebendige Atmosphäre in Ihrem eigenen Tempo für den Rest des Tages zu genießen. Die Tour endet gegen 16 Uhr.

Wonderful time on the Helsinki tour. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly, and brought the city’s history to life with lots of interesting stories and information. The driver was also very friendly and made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. It was a great way to see Helsinki, learn about its fascinating history and get a feel for the city. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Helsinki!
The Helsinki and Suomenlinna sightseeing tour is a fantastic way to see the city's top landmarks and explore a historic sea fortress.
I recently joined a guided tour of Helsinki and found it to be a genuinely enjoyable experience. The pace was comfortable, and our guide was knowledgeable without overwhelming us with too many facts. We visited several key spots, including the market square, the cathedral, and a few quieter neighbourhoods that gave a nice sense of local life. The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but that’s to be expected here, and it didn’t take away from the charm of the city. I particularly liked the mix of modern architecture and older buildings, which gave the place a unique character. It wasn’t the most spectacular tour I’ve ever done, but it was well-organised, friendly, and worth the time if you want a good introduction to Helsinki without feeling rushed.

We had a fantastic experience exploring Helsinki with our incredible guide Sergio! He was so knowledgeable and delightful. We learned so much about Finland and Helsinki as we took in the beautiful sights. We stopped at the local outdoor market and Sergio had delicious berries for us to taste then we did some shopping and tried some local delicacies for lunch. Sergio went above and beyond by making sure we all made it back to our hotels after the tour. I highly recommend this tour. 10 out of 10!

We pair of senior gal relatives felt that this tour was wonderful. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and joined only 3 others in the van. Sergio greeted us warmly, and was a consummate host throughout the tour. He accommodated my mobility restrictions considerately. He was knowledgeable and unhurried. We enjoyed the local Finnish driver, too, who helped with the commentary. This tour was first rate!

Did the Helsinki and Suomenlinna City Highlights tour and, to be fair, it was absolutely brilliant. Pick-up and drop-off were spot on, communication was great, and everything was very well organised. The tour guide was lovely, the driver was a gent, and there was great craic and good vibes throughout the whole trip. Really enjoyed seeing Helsinki and heading over to Suomenlinna. Only thing to keep in mind is that there’s a good bit of walking around the fortress, as cars can’t get in, so you’d want to have decent comfortable shoes on — otherwise you’ll know all about it afterwards! 😂 All in all, a great day out. Would definitely recommend it. No complaints at all.
I had a wonderful time on the Helsinki city tour. From the very beginning, the communication was clear, friendly, and well organized. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were convenient and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It was a beautiful day and a great way to discover Helsinki, with plenty of interesting places and sights along the way. I especially enjoyed visiting the fortress, although it is quite large, so I would recommend being prepared for a fair amount of walking. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Helsinki in a comfortable and enjoyable way.
