- Aus Komfortgründen und aufgrund des Gewichts/der Balance des Flugzeugs müssen Passagiere mit einem Gewicht von über 136 kg (300 lbs) einen zusätzlichen Sitzplatz erwerben. Dieser ist am Tag der Tour direkt an den Reiseveranstalter zu entrichten.
- Das Gesamtgewicht der Passagiere (einschließlich Pilot) darf 530 kg (1170 Pfund) nicht überschreiten.
- Die maximale Kapazität beträgt sieben (7) Personen pro Hubschrauber plus Ihren Piloten.
- Gemäß den FAA-Bestimmungen ist für alle Reisenden über 18 Jahren ein original amtlicher Lichtbildausweis wie ein REAL-ID-konformer Führerschein oder ein gültiger Reisepass erforderlich. Fotokopien oder digitale Ausweise werden nicht akzeptiert. Jedem Gast, der ohne originalen, amtlichen Ausweis anreist, wird der Check-in verweigert, und für jeden Gast in der Reservierung werden keine Rückerstattungen ausgestellt.
- Für diese Aktivität sind mindestens 4 Personen erforderlich. Es besteht die Möglichkeit einer Stornierung nach der Bestätigung, wenn nicht genügend Passagiere vorhanden sind. In diesem Fall wird Ihnen eine Alternative oder eine vollständige Rückerstattung angeboten.
- Die Sitzplätze im Helikopter richten sich nach den gesetzlichen Gewichts- und Gleichgewichtsgrenzen und werden nach dem Check-in zugewiesen. Maverick Helicopters garantiert keine Sitzplätze neben oder in derselben Reihe wie der Rest der Gruppe.“

We were so lucky to have a handsome interpreter there, and he was very kind to us.
Living in Southern California for twenty years and wanting to go to Catalina Island all the while, I chose the fastest route. Our pilot took me and five other guests to Avalon in eighteen minutes. We even spotted a pod of dolphins. Smooth ride and reasonably priced ($100 more than Catalina flyer for roundtrip). Large windows, moonroof and floor windows gave a panoramic view while flying like a movie star. Twenty minute walk, picturesque to downtown or pre-arrange a golf-cart transfer. Free overnight parking at Maverick private parking lot.

It was not as scary as I thought. It was nice to do this with my family. Super easy to arrive, park and set up.
We have flown multiple times before when it was IEX. We flew round trip from Long Beach to Catalina Island and it was great. But Maverick has since taken over the company. While trying to book online I did come across a generic line item for "fees" that was almost $300 for 4 passengers. This was not the FET tax just a separate line item. I reached out to an online agent but she didn't seem to understand what I was asking. She kept telling me the passenger seat cost varied depending on demand and day. Totally understand but that was not what I was asking. I think we went back and forth with her repeating the same information for about 5 minutes before I literally listed out line by line all the costs. This was very frustrating. Finally she was able to say that this was an island fee and there was some sort of California fee. This was all I wanted to know. I tried to explain that customers want to know what these fees are, especially when it is almost $300 extra in addition to your total costs and that they should include that info (the same way airlines do). She basically told me that I don't have to make the purchase if I don't want to. What? So anyway if you book and you want to know what the fees are they are basically island fees.
Amazing experience from the team and pilot taking care of us. We had such a great trip to Catalina. Our pilot spotted a pod of 100 dolphins and circled to allow us to see them.
