Everything was well organised. They take care of you through the trip. Their customer support is very good. You have to stay in touch before your trip as pick-up time can sometimes change.
be prepared to climb hundreds of steps, which if your knee does not hit, better prepare in advance, worth the effort. Of course in three days we made, all three visits,
Gracias por tomar de su tiempo para dejarnos tu opinión! :) Te esperamos para nuestra próxima aventura juntos! Cuídate!
Our 2-day trip began in Cusco. The evening before, we received a message from the tour company with the details of the day. We were told we'd be picked up at our hotel at 7:30-7:45, but they were there early...more like 7:15. We were still having breakfast, so thankfully, they were willing to wait for us to finish! Our tour guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. It was a long day, with a lot of it in the van, but the experience was worth the bumpy roads and lengthy travel! There was a bit of confusion around the train schedule and location for our trip to Machu Picchu. We just felt as though more clarification would have been helpful. We needed to hear more than, "Don't worry about it. It's fine." When we arrived in Machu Picchu Pueblo we received help from several locals in finding our hotel. A police officer actually walked us there! The hotel, Retama, was lovely, clean, and the staff was so accommodating and kind! Our tour of Machu Picchu was spectacular! We were fortunate enough to have a sunny day despite it being rainy season! Our tour guide, Joel, was so passionate about the ruins and did a great job explaining the significance of each. He was also happy to take photos of us when we asked!! Our time there was probably our favorite! Even though it wasn't a perfect experience, it certainly was one we will remember for a lifetime! I highly recommend it!
Dear Lori, First of all we are really sorry for what happend to you. And that you are not completely satisfied. Unfortunately we had this problem where you lost your train. (The departure time is written on the ticket). So, with all this happening, unfortunately you had to go by yourself. But in a normal day there are always a guide and a person from the hotel to bring you from the train station to the hotel in Aguas Calientes. All said, we are glad to know that you could truly enjoy the rest. Take care!
Inca trail is difficult yet so rewarding. Machu Picchu is just beautiful. Our private tour guide, Anthony, was brilliant. Friendly, educational, and such a good photographer. Incredible 2 days, highly recommend!
Great to read about you experience, Jason! :) Thank you so much for taking your time writing about your tour and about our guide. We are so glad to know you enjoyed everything. We are looking forward to our next adventure time together! Take care!
My daughter, her medical school friend and I visited Cusco after a medical mission trip in Iquitos. The Machu Picchu tour was excellent and our tour guide Roni was very passionate about the history and it showed when he was telling us all about it. Our tour guide, Niko in Cusco was also extremely knowledgeable and gave us a very thorough tour of that wonderful city. The Sacred Valley tour was also good, but we didn't realize we would be left in Ollantaytambo to wait 3 hours for the train to take us to Machu Picchu. We should have been placed on an earlier train. On the way back, I had scheduled a time to enter Machu Picchu at 10:00 am and we didn't get to the mountain until 11:30 because the tour company was waiting for other people who were part of the tour. Then, the tour company booked us on the 4:00 train back to Ollantaytambo which then made us rush through Machu Picchu. The tour company needs to look a little closer at the times and make sure that there is enough time to get to the train in time. We we disappointed that we were rushed. In addition, there is no direct train back to Cusco so it was another 90 minute ride once we left the train station. Overall, it is a wonderful place to visit, just be sure to look at all of your times and give yourself plenty of it to make sure that you are enjoying the beautiful sights without being rushed.
We made a reservation through viator sacred valley machupicchu and everything was organized correctly from the beginning to the end we were picked punctually in cusco and went to machupicchu only with 6 people this made the tour much better and the explanation more detailed I highly recommend Willka Travel.
I decided my last minute trip to Peru. I learned about Wilka Travel here on TripAdvisor, and it was a great choice. In a week of negotiations and conversations, they managed to assemble my package and leave everything set for my arrival. Everything, from tours, guides, transfer, was great. I scheduled everything through WhatsApp, talking to Henrique, who is Brazilian and works at the agency. He helped a lot, always responding and guiding me. Super recommend the agency. Congratulations!
Obrigado pela confiança, Ligia. Ficamos muito felizes que tenha curtido os passeios.
Hire the tourist services of the Enterprise willka well in advance and I received excellent attention from the moment of purchase until the end of our trip, we made the best combination and passed through very picturesque places like the village of pisac, ollantaytambo and continued our journey until reaching the village of Aguas calientes the next very early day we took the bus to Machu picchu we touched a spectacular climate radiant sun at dawn, really very spectacular and mysterious so imposing place our guide Carlos at all times was attentive and predisposed for any doubt that the members of the group could have, we recommend them!
Muchas gracias por tu comentário. Saludos de todo el Team Willka Travel.
We made with the Willka Tour the tour of the sacred Pisac Valley to Olantaytambo in Van. Then the tour contemplated the train to Aguas Calientes, with hotel. The next day we took the tour to Machu Picchu with a guide and back by train/bus to Cusco. Everything well organized, experienced guides, small groups, we were very satisfied. I recommend Willka Travel for your tours in Cusco!
Muito obrigado pela sua avaliação. Ficamos felizes que tenham tido uma ótima experiência em Cusco.
Hire the tour in the city of cusco, and everything was planned beautifully we highlight the work of our guide julia who all the time showed attention and dedication to the group, thank you for everything.
