Wonderful tour guide Will, he was knowledgeable and made the tour interactive. The tour was impacted by roadworks, limiting opportunities to see landmarks. We think there were missed opportunities to make the tour more about Harry Potter. There are 2 stops, 1 to see the leaky cauldron which was a bit underwhelming but nice shops around. The other stop was unnecessary , there was nothing to see other than being shown an iPad to say ‘this is what the toilets looked like’. Good size group, it wasn’t overcrowded. Nice touch to have a welcome drink/potion. More interactive for kids with the sorting hat. There are 2 quizzes during the tour which was fun. The tour is also around 3 hours, rather than the 2 advertised. Easy to find meeting point and good instructions. Without Will’s engagement and facts including about London we would have likely have been bored.
Brilliant tour and worth the money, will had lots of knowledge and was a genuine Harry Potter fan who spoke with passion. Well done to Robbie navigating the streets of london! Even won the quiz and got a little present ⭐️
The guide, Will holmes (with driver Robbie) clearly knew his stuff and shared it willingly Will went out of his way help guests who had limited battery life on their phone and those with missing guests His quizzes were well thought out and he had a good sense of humour throughout
As mad Harry Potter fans we got this as a Xmas present. The bus was very was to find. The bus looked amazing with the props in the downstairs seating area. Our guide for the tour was Laurie and Wayne did the driving through the busy streets of London. Laurie was very knowledgeable, he gave excellent commentary throughout the tour, he made the day very interesting and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour.
We took the Harry Potter bus tour today and overall had a really enjoyable experience. At £40 per ticket, the 2½-hour tour felt good value for money, especially because it wasn’t just focused on Harry Potter — we also got to see and learn about many famous landmarks throughout London, which made it even more interesting. The guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and really brought the magic of Harry Potter to life while showing us around some fantastic filming locations and iconic sights across the city. The tour was well organised and enjoyable from start to finish. The only downside was that the bus didn’t have air conditioning, and at times the fumes inside the bus were quite strong, which caused headaches during the journey. Aside from that issue, the tour itself was excellent and definitely worth doing for Harry Potter fans visiting London. Thank you to Will Holmes and the bus driver!
The guide was great - funny, knowledgeable. The rest of the experience was miserable: No AC on the bus. No shock observers. I appreciate the vintage bus, but on 25 centigrade that was miserable choice.
We easily found the bus along Embankment and was met by our host and tour guide Laurie. He was super friendly and enthusiastic which was a great start. The bus tour showed us many HP related sites and Laurie regaled us with many a fact that we might have never found out if it wasn’t for him. We stopped a couple of time to go and explore some film sites which really brought it to life. My 11 year old HP made daughter won the on board interactive quiz and was delighted with her little time turner prize. I would say this is a must for any HP fan!
Oh my goodness, this was such a FANTASTIC tour! We all loved every second of it! Laurie (apologies if this is misspelt) as our tour guide was exceptional! He was funny, engaging, enthusiastic and helpful. He honestly made the experience even more wonderful! The bus and extras (like scarves and drinks, not to mention the quiz) was so much fun! I would honestly recommend this to every Harry Potter fan and I would easily go again!! Thank you!!
Fabulous experience!! Will was fantastic- professional, entertaining, patient and clearly a huge HP fan. Son really enjoyed the interactive quizzes too! Everything really good, highly recommended for all ages!
The forecast on the day was a 70% chance of rain, but it stayed dry and the sun broke through the clouds - so maybe a bit of Harry Potter magic even before we arrived for the tour? Will, our guide, was a well versed individual; not only telling us many facts about Harry Potter film locations, but also throwing in other snippets about London in general. It was a smaller sized group than I had anticipated, about 15 people. At the start, the Sorting hat, in loose terms, assigned us to the various school houses, so we were given (for the tour only) a house scarf. A nice touch. The 2 in-bus quizzes were a novel feature. The tour lasted 2 1/2hrs, but the itinerary I had in advance stated "about 2 hours". Fortunately, I had assumed an overrun on time, which meant that we did not miss our train. If the traffic had been bad, then I was informed that it could, occasionally, be nearer a 3 hr tour. Wayne, our bus driver, managed to avoid a number of idiotic push bike and e-bike riders, who paid no attention to the Highway Code. For HP fans, this was a lovely tour.
