Such a great learning experience! The teacher was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the process of making the bread from scratch. I would definitely recommend the class and the sandwiches at the end were wonderful!

I took Lua’s class on how to make banh mi and I had such an incredible time! Lua was incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic in sharing her knowledge and love of cooking and baking. Even though I already had good background knowledge of the process of baking bread, learning how to make banh mi with Lua was incredibly insightful as she understood the small intricacies and details that separated what made a Vietnamese banh mi from other traditional methods of making bread, such as sourdough and campaigne loaves. Hearing her explanations and following along with her instructions was incredibly easy and I managed to create a successfully beautiful loaf on the first try, even with a few mistakes here and there. What was great as well, was that she also offered help troubleshooting our own bakes when we would try it at home. I had such a great time with this class and highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to learn how to bake an authentic banh mi!

This is an amazing experience I was the only one booked and I learnt so much about the bread baking process as we measured and prepped through the whole process nothing was pre done. The Banh Mi’s were perfect crunchy and it was so well explained I’m going home to start cooking

It was an incredible experience, understanding the technique and the ability to make some beautiful beautiful banh mi our teacher is incredibly informative. She had so many things well put together. The instructions were easy. She had a great system to how she was doing things. I really appreciate her effort and her work and I look forward to going home and practicing all these lessons I’ve just learned.
