Such a great tour - so informative and such a beautiful area! Trish was a great tour guide, really clued up in the area and could answer any question! Would really reccomend!
Such an amazing way to see Hampton court palace! Trish is awesome, she's so knowledgeable and tells you all the history of the area without being boring. The pace was perfect, just like the sunny spring weather. I'll be back to do the Windsor tour! Thank you Trish and team for this unforgettable day!
Coddiwomple's Hampton Court Bike Tour surpassed all of our expectations! Our guide Trish was knowledgeable, humorous, skilled, and marvellous. We toured Bushy Park, Home Park, and Hampton Court Palace in one gorgeous loop. The roads are wide and easy to bike along. There are deer resting off to the sides. And of course there's the palace itself! Incredible! When booking, Lydia was professional and so helpful. I organised a tour for 14 ladies and each one had a memorable day. I couldn't recommend the experience more highly. Thank you Coddiwomple, Trish, and Lydia. 5 stars!!
Harry and I enjoyed our informative cycle ride yesterday. It was nice being part of a small group. The route was so pretty and easy on the knees!! We enjoyed hearing the informative chats about the different places we stopped at. We would love to join you on one of the other tours, maybe Windsor.
This was an incredible tour and cannot be missed! It was well organized and our tour guide, Trish, was the perfect blend of informative and letting us soak in the surrounding nature. Trish was immediately welcoming and professional, while being approachable and conversational throughout the tour. I truly felt like I got an inside look at London and the palace grounds! She took pictures of everyone, would let us pull over and ask questions, and it felt leisurely and purposeful. Trish went out of her way to make sure I had a fulfilling trip to London, and as a solo traveler, I was so grateful to her! She gave me local recommendations beyond what we covered in the tour, and truly made me feel welcome. I will be doing this tour (with Trish) from now on!
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. I will definitely pass these lovely words on to Trish! Hope to see you on one (or both) of our tours again!
Beautiful ride through the palace park. Horrible equipment, old bicycles in disrepair, tires not properly inflated. Guide was nice but difficult to understand, spoke way too fast even after being asked to slow down. There was very little information given about the grounds, history & sites we passed along the way.
Hi Deborah, I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy our bike tour. Our bikes are vintage, but very reliable. We always ask the customers to come a bit earlier so we can adjust the bikes to the individuals liking. We got all the tools to fix the bikes and add more air to the tires when needed. As you arrived 30 minutes after the tour had already started, the guide wasn’t able to do that and you unfortunately also missed the introduction to the palace. I will pass your feedback about the speed of speech to the guide so this can be avoided next time. We like to give our tours in a more lightly leisurely way, instead of a history class way. I do hope you did enjoy the tour and the rest of the day. Please reach out to info@coddiwompletours.com if you have any other questions or would like to reach out for a different matter. We appreciate all feedback.
We thoroughly enjoyed our cycle tour around Hampton Court on Friday. Trish was a super guide – Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
This is a great way to explore the grounds surrounding Hampton Palace. In a small group of no more than 8, you take a cruiser bike and spend the afternoon (or morning) cruising around the expansive park with the tour guide teaching you about the history of the area and the palace. Trish, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. It's a cruisey ride, almost all flat, with several stops that will allow you to see the local wildlife (Red deer and fallow deer), the local pub, and major monuments. Note: You do not enter the ticketed area of Hampton Palace, you simply ride around it, so if you want to explore the palace itself, leave yourself a few hours before or after your ride to do so. All in all, a fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.!
Great ride and Trish our leader was terrific - very knowledgeable, great sense of humour, friendly and helpful. A lovely way to see the palace parks and the route was almost totally flat - just as well as the bikes had no gears!
Stunning scenery with local wildlife and plenty of stories, bringing history to life! Very friendly and lovely guide, Trish!
