Wenn Sie den Sound of Music lieben, kennen Sie dieses fantastische Puppentheater (seit 1913). Das Salzburger Marionettentheater ist das älteste zusammenhängende Theater seiner Art in der Welt. The Lonely Goatherd und die Puppenszene im Sound of Music wurden von diesem Theater inspiriert. Die älteste Abtei nördlich der Alpen (714 n. Chr.) War mehrfach im Sound of Music zu sehen. Im Film wurde nur das Äußere der Abtei verwendet. Innenaufnahmen wurden in einem Studio gemacht.
Hier halten wir für einen Blick über den See zum Schloss Leopoldskron. Dieses wunderschöne Rokoko-Gebäude wurde im Sound of Music als Rückseite des Familienhauses genutzt. Die Bootsszene wurde hier gedreht und war einst das Zuhause des ursprünglichen Pavillons.
Halt und kurzer Fußweg zum Schloss Frohnburg aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Dies sind die Tore, an denen Maria hüpfte, die Gitarre schwingt und "I Have Confidence" im Sound of Music singt.
Schloss Hellbrunn, berühmt für seine Wasserspiele, ist seit 1991 der Standort des ursprünglichen Pavillons. Einige der unvergesslichsten und romantischsten Szenen des Sounds of Music, wie "16 going on 17" mit Liesl und Rolf und "Something Good", wurden in diesem zeitlosen Gazebo aufgeführt.
Schloss Fuschl ist ein ehemaliges Jagdschloss, das 1450 von Fürst Erzbischof erbaut wurde. Heute ist es ein Luxus-Resort am See.

Carlos is very knowledgeable and a great laugh
Carlos is an excellent guide that really gets to know the needs, limitations, and personality of the group. His knowledge of the area is extensive...knowing about hidden gems as well as things you might want to avoid. He is a pleasure to be with, a good driver, and we were so very comfortable in his lovely vehicle. His communication with us was top notch! I would highly recommend Carlos to enhance your experience and comfort while traveling.

When you wait years to make a trip to Austria, you hold your breathe til it becomes a reality…. This experience did NOT disappoint. Guide, Michael, asked what we needed & had additional plans! A family of teens and adults brought challenges, but he was ready for it! The landscape itself is beautiful enough. But the information & fun tips were an added bonus. I can’t rate any higher. The hills are alive!
