Möchten Sie das authentische, lokale Istrien mit seiner Küche und Landschaft erleben? Dann sollten Sie mit uns ein Vespa-Abenteuer erleben. Wir führen Sie auf malerischen Wegen durch Weinberge und alte Olivenhaine, mit Blick auf die Salzebenen auf dem Weg. Unser Fokus liegt darauf, versteckte Winkel der Landschaft zu erkunden und echte lokale Küche zu genießen. Unsere Tour beginnt in der kleinen Stadt Piran mit einer kurzen Fahrt durch die Stadt, um aufs Land zu gelangen. Wir halten häufig an, damit wir die Aussicht genießen und so viele Fotos machen können, wie Sie möchten. Unterwegs erwartet uns ein lokaler Ölbauer, bei dem wir eine Verkostung von kalt gepresstem Olivenöl bekommen. Später bieten wir ein leichtes Mittagessen an, bei dem Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang durch ein istrisches Dorf machen können. Auf dem Rückweg nehmen wir eine Straße entlang der Küste mit Blick auf das Meer und die Küstenstädte sowie die umliegenden Länder. Wir beenden den Tag mit einem Glas lokalen Weins im Büro, während wir Eindrücke von der Tour austauschen.

Reiseverlauf
Treffpunkt, an dem unser Abenteuer beginnt. Wir lernen uns und unsere Vespas kennen, damit wir alle selbstbewusst und sicher auf der Straße unterwegs sind. Sie erhalten außerdem einen Helm und Wasser und dann ist es Zeit, unsere Reise zu beginnen! Wir beginnen mit einer kurzen Fahrt durch die Stadt, um aufs Land mit lokalen und nicht überfüllten Straßen zu gelangen.
Wir setzen unsere Fahrt durch den Naturpark Secovlje fort, wo sich uns ein Panoramablick auf die Salzebenen bietet und wir die Umgebung genießen können. Es bleibt Zeit, Fotos zu machen und eine kleine Pause einzulegen.
Die Fahrt führt uns durch alte Kiefern und kleine istrische Dörfer. Wir werden bei einigen von ihnen anhalten und einen lokalen Olivenölbauern besuchen. Sie können verschiedene Sorten extra natives Olivenöl probieren und den Anblick der Olivenölplantage genießen. Es bleibt Zeit für einen kurzen Spaziergang durch das Dorf und um die Aussicht zu genießen. Wir halten auch bei einer lokalen istrischen Konoba, wo Sie authentisches istrisches Essen und erfrischende Getränke genießen können.
Auf dem Rückweg nehmen wir eine malerische Route durch den Strunjan-Park und genießen die Aussicht auf die slowenische Küste, von der aus man auch Kroatien und Italien sehen kann. Es gibt auch viele Punkte, an denen man Landschaftsfotos machen kann.
Wir fahren durch die Küstenstadt Izola und sehen die Klippen der slowenischen Bucht, während wir am Meer entlangfahren.
Wir kehren nach Piran zurück – unserem Ausgangspunkt. Dort wartet ein Glas kalter Wein aus der Region auf uns, damit wir unsere Erlebnisse austauschen und zum Abschluss schön anstoßen können.

- Die Reservierung beinhaltet eine Vespa für zwei Personen, wobei ein Gast der Fahrer und der andere der Beifahrer ist. Sie werden von Reiseleitern auf einer separaten Vespa begleitet.
- Um eine Vespa zu fahren, benötigen Sie einen gültigen Führerschein und müssen volljährig und mindestens 18 Jahre alt sein. Die Reservierung beinhaltet eine 50ccm Vespa, aber auf Anfrage sind auch leistungsstärkere Modelle (125ccm Vespa) erhältlich. Bitte geben Sie Ihre Präferenz in den Reservierungskommentaren an und wir prüfen die Verfügbarkeit.
- Vor der Tour ist eine Kaution zu hinterlegen: 150 € für die 50ccm Vespa und 200 € für die 125ccm Vespa. Diese Kaution wird am Ende der Tour vollständig zurückerstattet, wenn die Vespa und die Ausrüstung unbeschädigt zurückgegeben werden.
- Die Tour dauert etwa 4-5 Stunden. Die ersten 30 Minuten sind Sicherheitsanweisungen und Regeln gewidmet, außerdem lernen Sie einander und Ihre Motorräder kennen. Die Fahrt selbst dauert etwa 1,5 bis 2 Stunden mit häufigen Stopps, um die Landschaft zu genießen. Unterwegs gibt es einen halbstündigen Stopp beim Ölbauern und einen einstündigen Stopp zum Mittagessen.

## ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Review for our today's Vespa half-day trip with "Dejan Rollende Istra"** Even the start at 8:30 AM at the *Rollende Istra* office in Piran was perfectly organized. After a brief, friendly handling of the formalities, the handover of the helmets, and a clear introduction to the Vespa, we were off – and from that moment on, a trip began that we will remember for a long time. The route initially took us out of Piran, past the salt pans, along narrow local roads that were wonderful to drive on. Our first stop was a small olive farmer who let us taste his freshly pressed oil. Dejan, our guide, explained the cultivation in an informative, authentic, and incredibly friendly manner. We continued over hills, through valleys, and ancient farming villages. In **Krkavče**, we made a stop and explored the village that is over 1000 years old. We were even allowed to visit the church from the inside – including the oldest part, which is only accessible through a narrow passage behind the altar. A true highlight. And then something wonderful happened: An older villager spontaneously gifted my wife a bouquet of lavender, St. John's wort, bay leaves, rosemary, and an artichoke flower. A touching, heartfelt gesture that made this day even more special. The drive then took us over scenic hilltops with views of opposite mountain villages – a panorama that one does not forget easily. In **Dobrava**, a lunch awaited us at *Restavracija Kamin* on the large terrace with an overwhelming view of the harbor of Izola. Appetizer: regional varieties of ham and salami as well as cheese. Main course: Pasta in truffle cream sauce – and the truffles actually come from the surrounding forests. A delight. To conclude, we took winding mountain roads back to Piran, where our tour ended. ### **Conclusion:** A beautiful, unique excursion through a part of Slovenian Istria – varied, lovingly designed, and full of little surprises. Our heartfelt thanks go to our guide **Dejan**, an extremely lovable, conscientious, and dedicated guide who made this day something truly special. My wife and I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Those who do not participate miss out on something truly wonderful. Amazing guide and experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day tour with Dejan and would absolutely do it again! The Vespa scooters were in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with storage compartments for our personal belongings. Dejan was an outstanding guide who led us effortlessly through Piran’s charming neighborhoods, making the entire experience both enjoyable and stress-free. Our first stop was a local olive oil farm, where we learned about the olive oil production process and had the opportunity to sample several delicious varieties. Along the way, Dejan ensured we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and capture the beautiful scenery. He guided us through a variety of local villages and neighborhoods, and in one particularly memorable village, we were given a firsthand glimpse into everyday life in Slovenia. Later, we rode our scooters to an incredible local restaurant, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal featuring regional specialties, including charcuterie, pasta, and truffles—yes, truffles! The hospitality at every stop was exceptional and matched only by the kindness and generosity of the local people we met. This was by far one of the most unique and enjoyable tours we have ever taken. If we find ourselves back in Piran, we will absolutely book this tour with Dejan again. Highly recommended!
Amazing vespa tour and top highlight of our trip to Slovenia & Croatia. Over 5 hours, we zipped through the beautiful, rolling countryside of olive groves and vineyards, with incredible coastal views, and through small villages accessible by local traffic only. We stopped at a family-run olive oil producer for a tasting, toured a small village on foot, and had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant overlooking the coast. Dejan was an excellent host/tour guide; his personal touch added to the experience and safety. He even sent us photos and a video of our adventure after the tour. Overall this was an amazing experience, exceeding our expectations! Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. Book it. Fabulous Vespa tour with Dejan around the hills and country side outside Piran and in Istria. Dejan showed great care and passion in ensuring we had a great experience. He is very professional from booking to end and his scooters are great. The country side is spectacular, full of Olive groves, grapevines, quaint villages and amazing views. The ride down country roads immerses you in the local life. You experience a fabulous and fascinating Olive Oil tasting and a delicious lunch with a spectacular view. I highly recommend this experience as you get to see more of the local area and Dejan even takes photos and makes a movie of your trip. Worth every cent!
Fantastic and fun experience to do near Piran that offers a different view of the seaside resort you are used to, perfect for an out of the ordinary day. This tour offers the chance to see and experience the beauty of the countryside, salt pans, vineyards, olive groves and some characteristic villages in a unique way, accompanied by Dejan who tells his land in a passionate and professional way, putting you extremely at ease with his friendly character and a very good command of the Italian language. Another highlight of this excursion is the lunch or dinner offered at a very good Istrian restaurant that itself finds the truffles used in the dishes served and where there is also the possibility to buy them at the moment, at more than fair prices, depending on the daily availability. In conclusion this is definitely a highly recommended trip that I hope I will have the opportunity to repeat!

Vespa tour in Piran was excellent experience. Dejan was very kind and explained us a lot of things around Istrian coast. We enjoyed every moment of this tour including olive oil tasting on local farm,very tasteful lunch and all the places which we visited. I highly recommend this tour as one of the best experiences in Piran/Portorož area.
I absolutely loved this tour - Dejan was professional but very friendly and welcoming, and he took me to villages I never would have discovered on my own. The experiences - like the olive oil tasting and the dinner at a local truffle restaurant - were super unique and clearly local gems. I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone visiting Piran!
