There are very beautiful things to see

Picked up 20 minutes late, but then we got going. Great explanations, the tour guides were funny. They did their job well. Except for Houmt Souk, I liked everything very much. It was a challenge at 39 degrees in the morning. The only drawback, however, was that one tour guide said that we would go to the spice merchant together in Houmt Souk, cronyism ☝🏼. The spices are overpriced and are not of good quality. My harissa is smoked paprika mixed with hot paprika. The saffron offered there is also a fake and ras el hanout is also inferior. Overall, you should take this excursion. You get to see a lot. You should just give the spice shop in Houmt Souk a wide berth.

The only Tunisian you shouldn't run into!

This excursion could have been nice if we hadn't run into a guide who was completely misogynistic with intolerable comments about women; let's overlook the fact that he didn't say hello to me, but if he doesn't like women, that's his problem, not ours, and it has no place in this excursion. We were supposed to go see a synagogue, we got the Sidi Yati mosque instead, abandoned and in a deplorable state, Djerba Hood guide absent, and he took us for fools, in his native village for pottery, not planned, at his childhood friend's place for all sorts of trinkets and a spice seller as well as an oil producer. We were with a charming German couple who received his good graces, they spent money, we didn't, so he barely spoke to us; we had paid to have the translation, except at the end to ask for a tip that he didn't receive. We must have run into the only guide we shouldn't have had, since I had relied on the reviews. As for the driver, he was very friendly and helpful.

A great morning trip to do. Lots of sites but not too long at anywhere. Our driver guide was superb and helpful. Thank you very much.

Djerba tour

The tour was good, except that we were led into two shops where one was naturally expected to buy something. I don't like that at all. If I want to buy something, then of my own free will and not because one is specifically led there. Because of this, unfortunately, almost half the time in the town had already passed, which I found a real shame.

Nice half-day trip

Very nice trip to explore the island of Djerba, with an air-conditioned limousine and a private tour guide who spoke good German. The tour guide was born and raised on Djerba and was able to provide many beautiful insights. Gladly again.

Excursion with VOYAMAR to avoid.

Excursion done by VOYAMAR for half a day. Everything was done from a commercial perspective, a visit to a potter but 20 minutes in the shop and 30 minutes in a beauty products store when it was announced to discover essential oils, the museum was rushed through even though it is magnificent. The cherry on top was the announcement that the visit to the synagogue is impossible due to cleaning since the day before! We therefore "lingered" in Houm Souk, still guided by the guide in "Her Shops" to extend the unfinished excursion under a scorching heat. A blatant theft. Take a taxi and explore the island at your leisure!

nice insight into the island

We were picked up on time and just had one more couple to collect. ROMAN BRIDGE - it was actually better to see the bridge from a distance rather than where we parked at the end of it. POTTERY - nice little demonstration and shop. MUSEUM - quite a large museum , very interesting. DJERBAHOOD - it was difficult to visit as we were just left there for 45 minutes and didn't know where to go or what to see. It would be good to have had a guide. We were meant to visit the Souke but were offered a choice of Souke or Spanish Castle. We went to the castle but only walk round the outside, I thought that we were going to go in. Overall a good trip, the guide told us lots of information about living in Tunsia.

Everything perfect

The tour was very nice to discover Djerba Island. The only thing was that the Synagogue was closed because of a Jewish celebration.

An unforgettable experience in Djerba

I had the chance to discover the heritage of Djerba with Bader Mares, and I recommend this experience very warmly. Being solo, the tour has turned into a real tailor-made discovery. Bader adapted the itinerary to my interests and answered all my questions, with a lot of knowledge and passion for the history and culture of the island. I learned a lot throughout the half day. Special mention for two absolutely magical moments: the beautiful sunset, and the experience of the iftar by the sea, an authentic and very moving moment. If you want to discover Djerba differently, with a cultivated, attentive and passionate guide, I recommend Bader Mares without hesitation.
