In einem halben Tag besuchen Sie die barocke Kirche, erkunden die Höhlen von Punkva und den Abgrund von Macocha und probieren, wenn noch Zeit übrig ist, tschechische traditionelle Gerichte. Die Punkva-Höhlen sind eine von fünf großen Höhlen im Mährischen Karst bei Brünn in Tschechien, die das ganze Jahr über für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sind. Ein Teil der Höhlentour ist zu Fuß und der zweite Teil ist im Elektroboot, was es einzigartig macht. Wenn wir uns treffen, stelle ich Ihnen eine AUDIO-Datei (via Whats Up) in Englisch zur Verfügung, in der die Führung beschrieben wird, da Sie an einer Führung auf Tschechisch teilnehmen werden. Die Tour ist sicher, beleuchtet und daher brauchen Sie sich keine Sorgen um Schwierigkeiten zu machen.

Genießen Sie einen beliebten halbtägigen Ausflug zu den Punkva-Höhlen und dem Macocha-Abgrund, die etwa 33 km nordöstlich von BRNO liegen. Es vereint ein bisschen Architektur im kleinen Dorf Křtiny mit einer wunderschönen Barockkirche. Das Dorf liegt an der Grenze des Naturschutzgebiets Mährischer Karst. Es ist ein winziges Dorf mit einer RIESIGEN Barockkirche. Es ist tatsächlich schockierend, wenn man in das Dorf fährt und diesen gigantischen barocken Wallfahrtsort, die Kirche der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria und andere Gebäude sieht, aus denen dieses Prämonstratenserkloster besteht und die Landschaft geradezu dominieren. Sie wissen sofort, warum es als „Perle Mährens“ bezeichnet wird. Unterhalb der Kirche befindet sich außerdem ein Beinhaus mit zwölf Totenköpfen, auf denen der Buchstabe „T“ aufgemalt ist.
Dann besuchen wir den Mährischen Karst voller Höhlen, besuchen den Macocha-Abgrund, die Punkva-Höhle (GANZJÄHRIG GEÖFFNET), wo Sie an einer einstündigen Führung auf Tschechisch teilnehmen (Englische Übersetzung können Sie am Eingang zu den Höhlen herunterladen). Achten Sie darauf, warme Kleidung mitzubringen, da die Temperatur das ganze Jahr über plus 6 Grad beträgt. Am Ende der Tour gibt es eine schöne Überraschung für Sie, aber ich sage es Ihnen nicht. Diejenigen, die leicht 20 Minuten zu Fuß genießen, können zurück zum Hauptparkplatz gehen.

Helen was our tour guide. I can't say enough about how fantastic she was. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the caves. She ensured we had all our needs met and questions answered. I would book any tour with Helen again! We had a delightful traditional lunch and she gave us a ride to another place and included history/info continuously as we went. One of my favorite tours of this trip.

Visiting the Punkva Caves and Macocha Abyss near BRNO, the Czech is almost a MUST see place and these caves are open all year round. Dress well since the overall year temperature is plus 6 C. You can book this trip with Helena Svedova from BRNOguide

Every part of this tour was fantastic. The trip through the mountains was beautiful and a welcome break from the city. On the way up to the abyss, Helena, the guide through most of the tour, was incredibly nice and told us many interesting details about the area and its history. We also stopped at a really impressive church hidden in a sleepy village and where she let us roam around and take pictures. The abyss and cave were beautiful and the boat ride was a really fun way to explore even more of the cave. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Brno.

The best part of the tour was actually the experience with the guide Helen. She is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. She fitted the tour to my needs and made the whole experience one I will definitely remember. The caves are beautiful and I highly recommend visiting them, but the additional information provided by Helen made the entire tour worth all the time spent. Also her English is impeccable.

We had a great tour with Helena yesterday. We found her very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable with a strong sense of pride in her country. The tour itself was very interesting and a bit of fun but most importantly we enjoyed the conversation with Helena throughout the day where she gave us information about the Czech history, Brno and surrounds and most importantly she shared her upbringing in Brno.
