Halbtägige private ländliche E-Bike-Tour in Hida

Beschreibung

Have a nice electric bike ride with Dai very friendly guide. The weather was not there but the circuit is cool near the river.
Dear Beatrice, Thanks for coming and writing a great review about the half-day e-bike trip in the rural part of Takayama. The weather was not so good unexpectedly but I was so glad that you still enjoyed the experience especially the riverside route. If you have any chances to come back to the area, please do not hesitate to contact us. Warm Regards, Dai
Dai was a great quide - it was wonderful to get out into the countryside and explore an area of Japan that others may not venture to. We would definitely recomment this experience to others.
Dear Shirley, It was very nice meeting you. Thank you so much for writing a great review for the bike tour. Tokyo and Kyoto are beautiful places but the countryside of Japan is also worth visiting. I love my country and am proud of what I am doing here. Hope you will find another great place in the rural Japan when you come back. Warm Regards, Dai
We were a family of four, including two teenage boys, and the family consensus was that this a highlight of our Japan trip. The short trip from Takayama on the train was easy and scenic, and Dai met us at the station. We hadn’t ridden e-bikes before but they were no problem, and made getting up the hills a breeze. Dai was a wonderful guide and was happy to share his experiences and insights into Japanese life and culture. We really enjoyed his company and riding through the beautiful hamlets. Highly recommended.
Dear Jacqui, Thank you so much for writing the fantastic review about the half-day private bike trip to the valley village. I also had a great time with you with seeing lots of beautiful sceneries in autumn leaves. The e-bike we use is easy to ride on even for a person who have not tried yet like you. We are so happy to show the rural areas for travelers from overseas to give some useful insights that make it easier to understand the Japanese culture more. Hope you will visit the area again and please feel free to contact us then. Warm Regards, Dai
Dai was amazing! He was so easy to talk to and get along with - it felt like going for a bike ride with a friend. We learned a lot about the area and Japanese culture in general. The route was also well thought out. Although it was a very hot day, the cycling wasn't too difficult due to the e-bikes. We would happily do this again if we ever came back.
Dear Leah, Thanks for coming and writing a great review about the half-day e-bike trip in the rural part of Hida region. It was so memorable for me too to be with you, especially eating watermelons together at the local shop in the village. I am so glad that you still want to come back here and of course I will be always expecting you to do so. Definitely see you again some day in future! Warm Regards, Dai
This is a lovely part of the world and makes for a very nice trip. The countryside is beautiful and the guide speaks good English and is patient and helpful. The main reason for rating the trip 3 stars is the pricing is very expensive. At over 200 Australian dollars per person for 3 hours (and you need a train trip to get there from Takayama), it’s over priced. If it were closer to $100 I would thoroughly re on end it for a lovely day away from crowds in the mountains and rivers
Dear Andrew, Thank you so much for coming and writing an honest opinion about the bike tour. The reason why we set the higher price than others is we are so proud of where we offer this tour. The destination of tour is a cluster of ten small Maze Riverside hamlets, each with a population of approximately 50 to 300 people, together collectively known as the “Maze Village”, which are regarded as some of the most beautiful authentic set of rural villages in Japan. Because it has no businesses specifically catering to tourists, the area is largely unknown and overlooked in the main guidebooks, though it’s close to the tourist towns like Takayama or Gero. The concept of tour is not just 3-hours bike tour in nature but escaping from major tourist areas to enjoy the difference from big cities and learn the local lifestyle with some informative insights provided by our guide. It was so shame that you felt it was overprice after joining the bike tour. However, we clearly describe these information on the tour detail page including price, duration of tour and that customers need to pay for the train ticket. We know price is so important but it is also very subjective. It depends on people how they feel about it. That is why we try our best as much as we can to avoid any misunderstandings between us and customers, and also to enable them to judge whether they should book or not. Hope you will understand our point and come back to Japan some day in the near future. Warm Regards, Dai
Wow!! What an absolutely spectacular day with Dai. This is definitely a highlight of our trip and a nice balance to our urban days in Tokyo and Kyoto. We are a family of four with two kids ages 12 and 14, and two adults. Between the four of us, we have very different levels of physical fitness but with the E bikes everyone was happy! The scenery is spectacular but most of all Dai was such an incredible guide and answered many of our questions about Japan. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend you book this trip!
Dear Julie, Thanks for coming and writing a great review about the half-day rural bike experience in Hida. We always try hard to give some opportunities for travelers who want to explore Japan more to see and learn cultural differences. I know we have so many countrysides in Japan but also believe that the Hida area is one of the best places to feel the slow lifestyle surrounded by beautiful nature. It was really nice meeting you. Hope we will see again some day in the near future. Warm Regards, Dai
Our charming and knowledgeable host Dai gave us a real insight into the town and its environs. He first ensured that we were familiar with the E-bikes and their controls, then explained briefly where we were going and why. It was the first time I'd used an electric bike, but it's easy to master, and makes even fairly steep inclines a breeze! Dairy went at our pace, and we were quickly moving along the Hida River and then exploring further afield. It's a beautiful area, well worth a visit. Don't expect castles, cities and crowds; do look forward to a slower pace, lovely scenery and company as well as an insight into rural Japanese life. Thank you Dai!
Dear Ian, Thank you so much for coming and posting a fantastic review about the morning we spent together in the rural part of Hida. Yes, you got a point. We do not have any fancy shops, buildings nor restaurants in the area but we are so proud of the nature. This tour is absolutely not made for common tourists but for someone like you who want to enjoy differences from big cities or love to learn and feel the local culture or lifestyle. Thanks again and hope we will see again some day in future. Warm Regards, Dai
We saw a beautiful part of Japan off the beaten track. The electric bicycles were easy to ride and even an out-of-shape person like me was able to climb hills like a pro. The guide was informative and friendly, and he spoke good English. A unique experience.
Dear Charles, Thank you so much for coming and writing a great review about the e-bike tour. The Panasonic e-bike is just amazing. It enables anyone to climb up steep hills so easily. We should be thankful to the provider. It must be one of the most compliments for us that the area is a beautiful part of Japan off the beaten track. Thanks again and hope you will come back to the area. Warm Regards, Dai
An excellent tour with a great host, Dai. A must do if you want to get away from the main tourist area and experience real rural Japan. Easy to use e- bikes, small group and guide made this tour a pleasure. Tip from tour guide led us to a great lunch in town at a nice little Italian- Japanese place.
Dear Joel, Thank you so much for spending time to write a great review about the half-day rural bike tour in Hida. We want to offer something different from any other tourist area in Japan, then picked this location. As you felt on the day, the scenery is marvelous. We are so proud of it including people who live in. Hope you will get another chance to visit Japan soon. Warm Regards, Dai
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Whether you're an avid cyclist, a Japanese culture enthusiast, or simply someone in search of beauty and authenticity outside of the traditional big touristy cities, this experience will undoubtedly surpass your expectations. The landscapes we biked through were like living paintings, each turn revealing vistas that took our breath away. From verdant rice fields that seemed to glow under the sun, to quaint villages that whispered stories of yesteryears, every scene was a testament to Japan’s natural beauty and its meticulous care for harmony. Thank you, Dai, for your hospitality and for a truly unforgettable day and adventure. Mata ne!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dear Emile, Thank you so much for coming to join the rural e-bike experience. It was definitely lovely meeting you and appreciate your effort to see around the area for 2 years in a row! I am so glad to see you got the point. Different from big cities, the Japan's countryside is so beautiful because of local efforts to keep everything tidy such as gardens of private home and rice fields. It was also a nice extra with you. That was just my appreciation to you. Absolutely see you again! Warm Regards, Dai
