Lots of history of Bratislava and the region. Good pacing and timing of the tour. We paid ahead but there is also an option to pay later.
Our tour guide was excellent and gave us a walking tour of Bratislava. Best part was she knew the best restaurants to have us try the local food and showed us the souvenir shops and post office.
We originally went with a small half day group tour. This was cancelled due to numbers and said in the original booking conditions, the great news was they were flexible enough that we could book a personalised tour on the day. That said Bratislava and the tour was excellent. Loved the old town and castle and enjoyed looking at the details. We went for the Xmas markets and they were good… but upon reflection wish it was at night! Prices everywhere where great So much cheaper than other European cities Food and drink were great Do yourself a favour and go See another flavour in the dessert that is Europe
Eva was amazing as a guide. She walked us through the medieval city and talked about the historical aspects of it. Our driver was wonderful and the entire day was well worth it. Excellent!
Great tour and excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and answered question very well. If you are in Vienna and have a half day for a tour, I highly recommend the tour of Bratislava. A very enjoyable tour with adequate time for lunch.
Excellent guide, same as driver. Very patience to explain everything. I highly recommend this tour. Don't missed!! You will enjoy a see nice area, next to the ocean. Make shopping there very good, excellent prices.
The driver was prompt and knowledgeable. He took us to the Slavin memorial and Bratislava Castle which was convenient so I didn’t have to walk up those hills. Then he dropped us off at Old Town for free time. And since it was such a nice day out he gave us an extra 30 minutes to explore. Overall, I liked the convenience of being picked up at my hotel and driven around to the tourist spots so I didn’t really have to plan anything or take a train. I could just enjoy the trip without stress.
My original booking for cancelled due to low numbers, so they rescheduled for the next day. We went even though it was snowing, and while everyone was cold, I had a great time. Our driver Peter was super nice and our tour guide Janette had great energy. Good for solo travelers! Thank you!
I was advised the day before of travelling that the tour didn't reach the minimum requirements and will need to pay additional 200 Euros for private tour which does not include the tour guide. I advised to cancel the tour moments later another person has booked the excursion so the tour went ahead. Driver messaged to confirm pick up time at 8.30, we got to Bratislava within an hour. We took pictures from the memorial place and castle. We then got dropped off at old town and spent 3 hours there which was enough time for us to visit the sites and had time for lunch at christmas markets. Arrived at the hotel at 2.30 which meant I was able to tour around in Vienna. I recommend this tour, friendly driver, beautiful place, weather was perfect clear skies.
It was a good visit. The hotel pick up and drop off was very convenient. An additional hour in Bratislava would have been appreciated.
