I got this tour from Lubomir, the guide from penguin travel Ik was a very nice experience, the horses were very loved and taken care of and paired with the bulgarian autumn landscape and the very nice company of the tour guide, lubomir, it made for a memory I won't easily forget. Everything was well taken care of , the food was amazing, the visit to the red church made for a great stop in-between riding the horses Thank you for the great time and the conversations If I get the chance to do it once more I definitely will

We had an absolutely great time riding in the beautiful landscapes of vineyards and Rhodope mountains. Our guide Lubomir took great care of everything: horses and saddles preparation, safety, lunch, water supply. He will not only guide you and tell you everything you need to know about the horses, he will also tell you local stories and ways of life of the locals in the Rhodopes. The horses are super calm, they are really smart and well-trained. They make you feel confident and comfortable even if you're an absolute beginner (like we are). The whole experience was great and absolutely worth it. Totally recommend.

Lovely trip with horses and very nice Guide Lubo. Would definitely do this again, maybe just in a colder season (37 degrees while horse riding is too hot! ;))

Amazing day overall, one of the highlights of our trip. We were picked up from our accommodation in Plovdiv and driven to the horses. It was our first time horse riding and we were taught well how to control and ride the horses. After that we began riding through the absolutely beautiful countryside. The views were stunning - lots of fields, hills and the Rhodope Mountains in the background. This was the highlight of the tour, and went on for several hours - for two beginners it was an excellent amount of riding. We stopped off at the red church, which was interesting enough for the short stop. I. We wouldn't likely have seen outside of the tour, but admission was included and a nice addition. Once riding back to the start, our guide gave us sandwiches for a lunch we ate whilst he drove us to the vineyard. The sandwiches were lovely and made by our driver/guide Lyubo's wife which was really sweet. Included in the vineyard tour we got a short but informative tour of the grounds followed by the wine tasting. You're given the choice of trying a mix of red, white and rosé, alongside some cheese and bread - we opted for two whites and one red. They were all sublime. You're then given the option to buy some for yourself at very reasonable prices. We bought two bottles, which we then had that night. We'd have 100% bought more had we had the space to take it home. Incredible experience and a massive thank you to our driver, guide and instructor Lyubo, and his wife.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Lubomir riding around the beautiful vineyards and fields in the foothills of the Rhodope mountains. Everything was perfect, from the communication prior to the ride, the horses which were well trained and sure-footed, the personable guiding of Lubomir, to the visit to the Red Church. Lubomir was careful to ensure we were comfortable on our horses before we set out. The area is lovely and I imagine it will be even more spectacular when the lavender fields are in bloom. Good value for money.

Riding through the vineyards in the Rodopi Mountains with our tour guide Lubo was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the beginning, the organization was professional and cordial. Lubo not only guided us safely through the picturesque landscape, but also inspired us with exciting information about the region. The horses were excellently trained, calm and well maintained, which made riding a pleasure for both Beginners and experienced riders. The breathtaking nature was particularly impressive: rolling hills, wide fields and idyllic vineyards as far as the eye can see. The peaceful atmosphere of the surroundings made us completely forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lubo was a perfect guide – friendly, patient and with a deep love for his homeland. His expertise on the region and the wines produced there has further enriched the tour. It was especially nice to enjoy a wine tasting with local wines at the end of the tour – a perfect end to a perfect day! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Rodopi mountains and vineyards in a special way. Many thanks to Lubo for this unforgettable experience!

Had a great time in Bulgaria. Lubo has been amazing. From the minute he picked us up , we saw some amazing views. His knowledge about horse riding and mountains is incredible. It was just a stunning experience! Riding in the Rhodope Mountains cannot be described in words. I have only seen such view in movies. It was very beautiful and worthwhile for someone who enjoys nature. Lyubo was an excellent guide. He taught us how to ride and always made sure we are fine. He took his time to tell us some history. We would have him again as our guide.
