Noah was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind and personable, and went out of his way to make sure that all seven people attending the tour were comfortable with the pace of our walking and information being shared.
Guy was absolutely amazing!!! He made an effort to make sure everyone felt included. He was incredibly entertaining and shared great stuff to know throughout. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the top sights in Paris, do it your first day of the trip!
Our guide (can’t remember his name but he’s from Denmark) was excellent! The tour took ~5 hours, he was great at keeping the group together, gave us the history / interesting tidbits about each place, kept us hydrated and cared about our needs. Covered all the top spots, obviously you won’t have time to go in but it’s a great way to discover the highlights.
Adva was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our tour group. I learned a lot about the history of the landmarks we toured.
Our guide was great, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in Paris for the first time and/or not comfortable transiting the metro or city yet. This was a perfect “Paris 101” course! We found the tour to be aimed at anyone needing an introduction to Paris - we covered a great deal of ground in a short time, but the pace was very comfortable. If you are already comfortable with using the metro and bouncing around sites, this may be too introductory for you.
It was a very hot and long tour with next to no breaks. We had one short food break in a location with no a/c and ONE bathroom with no toilet paper. We didn't get to see inside Sacre Coeur as advertised (and we had to climb instead of using the funicular as advertised). Also, instead of going to the underground tunnel to get close up views of the Arc de Triomphe, the guide had us stand in the middle of the busy road with traffic flying by on each side. It was not safe. We threw in the towel before the tour was over.
We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience. The day of your tour Paris was experiencing exceptionally high temperatures. To help everyone stay as comfortable as possible, the guide adapted the pace of the tour, made regular stops in shaded areas, and included a refreshment break. We’re sorry if these breaks did not meet your expectations. Regarding Sacré-Cœur, access to the Basilica can sometimes be restricted due to religious services, special events, or long security queues. As it is an active place of worship, entry cannot always be guaranteed. The funicular was closed for maintenance purposes and beyond our control. For the Arc de Triomphe, we take guest safety very seriously. Our guides do not lead groups into moving traffic, and we certainly would never intentionally put guests in an unsafe position. The stop is made from a designated viewing area that offers excellent views before continuing the tour. Having said some guest wish to take photos in the traffic island part and the guide campaigns them. We’re sorry that you chose to leave before the end of the experience, as this meant you missed a significant portion of the tour, including several of Paris’ most famous landmarks. Nevertheless, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps us continue to review and improve our tours. We wish you all the best for the rest of your travels.
Great way to see the city. Lots of walking, lots of site, and a good exposure to the metro and rer system. Enjoyed by our whole family - age 11 and up!
Guide was knowledgeable and you should take this experience at the beginning of your trip because the guide teaches you how to use Paris local trains and also the history behind each landmark was insightful.
Guy was a great tour guide. He was so full of energy and information. We covered a lot of areas, but he was talking and teaching the whole time so it felt like it went quickly. He interacted with the group and engaged individuals well to make sure they were included and enjoying themselves. My only recommendation would be for the guide to use an FM system. With a large group walking the streets, it was sometimes hard to hear what he was saying, even though he would expertly walk backwards through crowds so he was facing us. An FM system would save his voice, ensure everyone could hear clearly, and be helpful keeping the group together in crowds or getting on and off the metro. I would also recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip so you can go back to the sites of most interest. It was also a good training for using the metro system.
This was the highlight of our trip to Paris. The tour guide did an excellent job explaining the history of each stop and we never would have been able to see all of these sights on our own. It was also a good education on how to navigate the metro. I highly recommend this tour, especially at the beginning of your trip.
