Auf unserem Weg werden wir viele bedeutende Dinge sehen, wie das schmalste Haus, das niederländische Westindien-Haus, viele schöne Hausboote und das einzige schwimmende Katzenheim der Welt! Bis bald! Der Amsterdamer Hauptbahnhof ist unser Treffpunkt. Dieses Gebäude ist berühmt für sein atemberaubendes Inneres, Äußeres und seine historische Umgebung! Dort möchten wir mehr über die Geschichte von Jordaan – unserem Ziel – erzählen;
Amsterdamer Grachtenring Berühmter Grachtenring – werfen wir einen Blick auf prächtige Kaufmannshäuser aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und gemütliche Hausboote! Gemeinsam mit Ihnen erfahren wir mehr über die niederländische Kolonialisierung, die Marinegeschichte der Niederlande und bedeutende Persönlichkeiten aus alten Zeiten! Bei einem Spaziergang entlang der Kanäle finden wir das schmalste Haus, das niederländische Westindien-Haus, und verlieren uns dann in den gemütlichen Höfen! Wir werden lokale Kunst entdecken, die „braune“ Bar besuchen und sogar den besten Apfelkuchen probieren, der von Bill Clinton sehr geschätzt wurde!
De Poezenboot ist das einzige schwimmende Katzenheim der Welt. Hier erzählen wir Ihnen etwas über die Einstellung der Niederländer gegenüber Haustieren und verraten Ihnen einige Fakten über Amsterdam als tierfreundliche Stadt.
Lutherische Kirche, Noorderkerk und Westerkerk – werfen wir einen genaueren Blick auf diese majestätischen Kirchen, in denen Sie mehr über den Achtzigjährigen Krieg, seine Folgen und die moderne Einstellung zur Religion erfahren können;
Noordermarkt – lebhafter Marktplatz im Herzen des Jordaan-Viertels! Dort erfahren wir mehr über die lokale Geschichte, Traditionen, Unruhen und andere wichtige Ereignisse, die diese Gegend so anders gemacht haben als alle anderen! Besonders belebt ist der Platz samstags, wenn hier der Bauernmarkt stattfindet. Der beste Ort, um niederländische Köstlichkeiten wie Hering, Austern oder Käse zu probieren!
Jordaan gilt auch als einer der kreativsten Bezirke Amsterdams. Deshalb möchten wir Ihnen einige lokale Kunstgalerien, Designläden und ein ungewöhnliches Labyrinth-Hotel vorstellen, das Sie umhauen wird!
Westerkerk & Anna-Frank-Haus – wo wir über die jüdische Diaspora und den Zweiten Weltkrieg erzählen möchten. Wichtig! Diese Tour beinhaltet nicht den Besuch des Anna-Frank-Museums.

Maria was spectacular, shes very knowledgable about the city. We walked, talked, got some coffee and explored the JORDAAN area. She knows her architecture, the differing neighborhoods and the people who live there. She was such a delight in every way. I look forward to more tours with her in the future. I highly recommend her

We wanted to get a tour of Jordaan during a market day so this was a perfect tour for us. Our lovely guide Maria was flexible in adjusting to our family of 4 and also gave us time to explore the market on our own and the opportunity to enjoy some local treats. Nice and relaxing tour - we did it as a private option. Maria was flexible and accommodated our request for a meeting spot closer to our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned quite a bit about the Dutch culture in general. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour with Maria if you are in Amsterdam.

It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.
