It was an awesome experience, since I met that young lady, was fantastic she was very knowledgeable kind enthusiastic.
Explanation about sculptures and mummificatation were especially interesting. But only 2.5 hours in the musium, not 3 hours. That,s too short. Insted, I had to visit pupils shop which wasn't mentioned on the way back. Also couldn't have any snacks which was mentioned. Very bad tour!
Mahmoud was a great tour guide, full of knowledge of key items in the museum. Highly recommended. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop off which makes it quite accessible
Sayed and ezz were great guides. It was a fun filled day. Sayed took his time to explain all the beauties of Egypt. Don’t think twice , you will not regret.
Excellent tour. You really need a guide as there is no audio tour available and the guide knows what to show you of interest. I chose a tour without entrance fee included - might have preferred one with entrance fee included and then the guide would be the one to have to get the tickets - but it was a very quick queue so not a problem in the end.
Amr was a great tour host. He was extremely knowledgeable and authentic. Lots to take in at the museum so be ready… it’s much larger than it looks. Lots of mummies to see from Egyptian to French. Tons of history shared.
Overall this was good tour and a great way to spend several hours visiting the Egyptian Museum. The museum is huge and having a guide with you to help provide background information on the various pieces is very helpful.
We had a terrific guide, Abraham, who shared with us his knowledge of not only the museum, but also Egyptian life and made for a great experience. Great knowledge and combined with humour, great day.
Our guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, explained all of the important pieces in the museum, and made us feel right at home.
Hesma was our guide, and she arrived on time at the hotel for us. Quick drive to the Egyptian Museum. Her English was good but we had to listen carefully. She spent about 60 mins explaining museum artifacts. Then gave us 45 mins to explore on own. Then drove us to a papyrus shop so they could show us how to make papyrus and 'sell' us. This tour is closer to 2.5hr - 3hr not 4hrs as advertised; we felt $45 per person is expensive for a 3 hour tour.
