Halbtägiger Ausflug nach Pompeji ab Neapel

The tour was very slow because the guide, Roberto, had to translate in both English and Spanish which is not very efficient. We would walk 30ft and listen to 5 minutes of talking. We should have been able to see quite a bit more of Pompeii but this made the tour very inefficient. It was also very difficult to understand Roberto so we did not get a lot of the details. Additionally, there was an elderly gentleman with us who had difficulty walking and was short of breath. It took Roberto to the end of the tour to call for assistance. Additionally, we were on a cruise excursion and after the tour I asked our tour leader Ivana if the driver could drop us off somewhere other than the cruise terminal so we could continue exploring. She said that is fine and talk to the driver because he speaks English. We heard here say something about a tour to the driver but didn't fully understand. When we arrived back to Naples, the driver Armando insisted on giving us a tour and driving is around. We asked multiple times and he said he would circle again and take as back to cruise terminal. We used Google translate and finally got him to stop after firmly telling him to stop and let us out of the vehicle. My kids felt like we were being kidnapped and was very uncomfortable. Although I don't think there were any ill intentions, I think the communication from Ivana could have been better so the driver knew exactly what we wanted.

Great value for money. Friendly drive and guide. Lovely air conditioning in the bus. Would recommend you avoid the stress

This was an amazing tour!!! Roberto gave us a 5 star experience. He picked us up in a luxury vehicle and drove us to and from Pompeii. When we were in Pompeii we had an audio guided tour that gave us the freedom and flexibility to explore as we wished. Definitely recommend if you want to see Pompeii from Naples!

We booked the afternoon visit with entry included. They picked us up alone, and when we arrived in Pompeii, they told us that entry was not included (despite it being indicated on the voucher). Since there were fewer than 6 people, they did not provide a guided tour, which was also indicated on the voucher, but I believe they should have informed us so we could decide.

Emmanuella (very kind) speaks French very well. This is a visit with descriptions provided by an app. The cell signal varies in certain areas.

The assistant Aldo and driver Elio were impeccable in their service. The Audio Guide was not very useful. A human guide would have been better. There was confusion regarding pick up points. We were asked to go to a location about 30 minutes walk from our hotel. After we were picked up from there, they picked up another person from our hotel, do we needn't have walked 30 minutes!

Aldo is a cool guy. Communicated with us well and we enjoyed our trip.

Great way to see the highlights of Pompeii and Naples in half a day. Nice because small group of 7 with a excellent Tour Guide in Angela. Convenient pickup at the Naples Cruise Ship Dock. Entered Pompeii right at opening as Angela worked another excellent Tour Guide, Giulia, who walked through the site with detailed, interesting and informative facts about Pompeii. Comfortable pace. After Pompeii, a couple of hours in Naples with Angela taking us to several key area, providing interesting background information. Good way to experience a great Tour in around 5 hours and still half of your day available. Highly recommend.
