This experience was absolutely speechless. It was my second try, as the first one with a different company where I spent double amount of money was not successful (which is fine as its a wild nature) but the whole approach and experience, educational side - was much better here, very enthusiastic and enjoyable especially from the experienced guide with great jokes Kevin and the captain Mahai. The GoPro video from the whole experience its included, as there is a focus on „focus and enjoy on what is in front of you rather than trying to make the perfect video shot missing the whole magical present moment“. I loved that very much, thank you for this magical and memorable experience, will be back this year for sure!

We had a great time with the boat crew and swam in the open sea, hearing and seeing a whale. Back on the boat, we saw her, she made fools. It was magical. Unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for coming out.

The Captain and our guide, Kevin, did a fantastic job ensuring that each and every participant had a great time on our excursion. They were experienced and knowledgeable about the whale migration around Moorea. Even though we did not see a whale on our trip, it was exciting to be in the water with them and to hear their singing at close range. They made sure that each of us felt safe throughout the entire tour. The Moorea Activities Center staff were responsive and timely at all times. We would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Moorea during the whale season. This excursion was a great value compared to other similar tours.

We booked two activities — one tour We booked two tours. One on jet ski and one for watching/swimming with whales — and everything was absolutely perfect! The organization was at the top and the excursions were supervised very professionally. The whole team was not only friendly, but also passionate and always ready to share their knowledge of the underwater world. Whales, turtles, stingrays, sharks and many more were there😃🐋🐢🦈🐠 We will take these wonderful memories with us in our luggage and look back on them with a smile during the winter months, warm around a fireplace. A BIG mauruuru and chick to the whole team! 💙

Great experience in the open ocean for the whale trip! A beautiful ending with turtles and rays!! Thanks to Mahai and Kevin for their approach and philosophy of the marine environment... My 24-year-old son was delighted Super pair:)

Extremely misleading. The law is 6 people in the water per time and we had 11 people in our boat and had to do two groups one group at a time of course. It was just as expensive as all the other groups that don’t oversell your boat. Take your money elsewhere to some company that will respect the law and your time.

We did the whale trip with my wife and it was just exceptional The team was very kind and shared with us exciting knowledge about whales and marine life. We also did the quad and jet ski excursions, and again, it was a pure treat! Everything was perfectly organized, in a friendly and caring Mood. Thanks to them, we had the chance to observe dolphins, rays, turtles, sharks and of course the beautiful whales. I strongly advise this company

Could not have asked for a better day! Our captain Mahai and guide Kevin made the day extremely enjoyable and know exactly how to get as close as possible to the whales. If the weather permits they will get you there. We were lucky enough to get to see a mother whale and her baby extremely close while we were in the water with them it was a breathtaking experience when we would never forget thank you again to our captain and guide.

If you're visiting Moorea, it would be a shame to miss the Half Day Whale Tour from Moorea Activities Center. We decided to try it and it was easily the top thing we did on our trip (and we're not nature people). Kevin, our ocean expert from Bora Bora, was very knowledgeable about the ocean and offered guidance (in both English and French) to prepare us for swimming in open water. He kept watch over us the entire time we were in the ocean, checking that we're okay regularly and pointing out where the whales were. Captain Mahai is a longtime local from Moorea with plenty of experience. The weather was windy that day with some rough swells, but he managed the boat well and kept the ride as steady and enjoyable as possible. It didn't take long after we got to open water before we spotted whales. We were the first boat there, so we got in the water right away and swam near a mother whale and her calf. Being that close (almost too close) was pure magic! On the return trip, we made a stop to snorkel with blacktip sharks and stingrays. TIPS: The team used a GoPro to record the tour and shared the videos with us at no extra cost. Bring your own SD card to save them, or you can buy a USB stick on site for around $20. Several people on our boat felt seasick from the motion, so I recommend taking motion sickness medicine ahead of time. It would have made it even smoother. This tour is perfect if you want to see whales in person. Thanks, Moorea Activities Center! 🐋

We were a group with 5 private whale boat trips and had a fantastic time! Captain Mahai and Kevin are so knowledgeable, in tuned with the whales and dedicated to give you the optimal experience, they are simply the best! And they are a great team together. Their respect and care for the sea and the cetaceans is heartwarming. We got to spend 2 hours with a ‘honeymoon couple’, had endearing encounters with mamas & babies and several singers. Kevin explained his decisions and shared a lot of practical knowledge of the whales, which helped us both behave properly and relate to the whales. Very inspiring! We also got to swim with reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays and turtles. And the captain made the boat ‘surf’ with a 30+ pod of spinner dolphins! And he ‘invited’ (whistled) a bird along, which responded by flying parallel to the boat for some time. Also the staff at the Activity Center are super friendly, flexible and service minded. As an organizer I truly felt in the best of hands from my booking to the completion of my retreat, and all my participants were very content. Mauruuru roa!! PS. Extra plus that the whale guide film the encounters, which are made into a Facebook videos.
